Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Giveaway

Hi! It’s Sue and I’m here with a one layer card. Are you like me, I’m really intimidated by one layer cards. I seem to like to mess up the card on the very last stamp impression – like it doesn’t stamp properly, I smudge it, I leave a partial inked fingerprint somewhere. You get the idea, right? I like the option of trimming down the stamped panel if I do mess up a bit. However, on a one layer card, one just doesn’t have that option. Yes, I know, it’s only a paper – you should see my recycle bin!

Here’s my card

I drew really faint pencil marks to demarcate the area I wanted to focus on. I used Hero Arts Spring Hello with Lia stamp set with a variety of Hero Arts inks. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I used a thin black marker to add a frame.

There’s still some time to join our monthly challenge at a2z Scrapbooking – Make It A Tag

To participate,  your focal image needs to be a Hero Arts product.

How would you like a 15% discount off of purchases of more than $25 at a2z Scrapbooking store? Use my code Sue15 for that 15% discount.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you another Fall Coffee Lovers Project that I made using our fabulous Coffee Cut Frames combined with the new stamp set Vintage Christmas Wishes. I know that this kit is originally created for Christmas but with a little bit of creativity, you can use it the entire of year. Take a look at my card:

Creating this card was very simple:

  1. Cut the base using Very Vanilla card stock.
  2. Cut a second layer using a decorated paper. I used the same pattern to cut the base of the cup.
  3. Cut a third layer of very vanilla card stock using a decorated frame.
  4. Stamp on the upper part of the frame the background image included on the stamp set Vintage Christmas Wishes. I inked this with different colors to create a fall look.
  5. Cut the Coffee Cup using decorated paper and very vanilla card stock.
  6. Sponge the cap of the cup with Hero Arts Soft Sand Ink
  7. Stamp the little fall images included on the stamp set Autumn by Hero Arts on the accent part of the cut.
  8. Assemble the cup and paste over the background using dimensionals.
  9. Stamp your sentiment using the words included in the Autumn stamp set by Hero Arts.
  10. Finalize the decoration by adding some sequins in an aqua color.

Simple and fun to make!

I hope you enjoy my project and it inspires you to use the Hero Arts stamps combined with die cuts. On the a2z Scrapbooking Store you will find a lot stamps &  cut stamp sets or die cut options that you can use with your stamps. And if you’re shopping, be sure to use the code Martha15 to receive 15% off your purchase!

See you again soon, take care!

Tag with branches

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Giveaway

Today I felt like making a Christmas card, must be the cooler temperatures that are helping my feel more festive. I know it’s not that cool yet as our high today was in the lower 70’s, but it’s a huge difference to the 90 we had on Saturday! Welcome fall temps!!!

I like the way the card turned out. The hardest or at least most time consuming was the background. After stamping the green branches and red berries I ran the background through the cuttle bug several times to “emboss” the greenery. Here is a closer look at the result…

I then stamped and die cut a few extra branches. The tag is stamped and fussy cut using an older HA set (as well as the sentiment I used). I layered my die cut branches and tag on a smaller white panel, adding some twine to the top and tied a bow. Topped the smaller panel onto the card base using some foam adhesive.

If you are in need of any items from the a2z Scrapbooking store you can use code Monica15 at checkout to receive 15% off your purchase of $25 or more. Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Giveaway

Hi, friends, Chark here today with a simple stamped card using the You’re So Lovely Flower Stamps. I wanted a stamp with lots of surface area so I could use the new Bold, Hybrid Hero Arts inks.

I used Strawberry, Tangerine, Pine and the Ombre Neon Chartreuse to Blue. I did some masking, which worked fine for putting all the leaves in the background. The center of the flowers is the new Nuvo Ruby Slippers Glitter Drops. Here they are in close up.

I’m not a huge ink hoarder but I do looove the richness of the Hybrid Inks.

Happy Monday!

Hero Arts Thanks & Stencil Love!

Hi friends – welcome back! I had so much fun making this carD and it came together very quickly – even better! First the ‘official schtuff’!

If you don’t see some of the products I used in the Etsy shop; don’t hesitate to create a special order, they do those ALL. THE. TIME!😀 I think a couple items may be sold out but there are lots of other alternatives too.

Also, don’t forget to use coupon code MicheleG15 to receive 15% off your order of $25 or more!😀 Happy shopping!

And last, don’t forget to join our TAG challenge this month – we love seeing you creations!

OK, now down to b’ness! I took a piece of ranger water color paper and sponged heavily with spun sugar, the added the Bold Floral Stencil and sponged on abandoned coral distress ink. Before removing the stencil, I sprayed with shimmer mist; I knew the colors would run somewhat but that’s okay. (If you follow me on snapchat. I peeked a couple quick videos of the sponging and shimmer mist – username: whimsycreation).

I sat the main panel aside to dry and worked on the ‘thanks’ and vellum piece. The ‘thanks’ was cut  4 times from black card stock and glued together; once dry I sponged with VersaMark and added clear sparkle embossing powder…three different times. I embossed a sentiment on vellum and although the sentiment is normally in a straight line, I decided to curve it to match the ‘thanks’ a bit more. Some striped paper, thread and enamel dots finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by; don’t forget to join this month’s challenge – TAGS! Thanks for stopping by!

Peace, Love, & Joy – Tag Challenge

It’ Donna with a2z Scrapbooking  challenge which is “Make It A Tag”! I hope you have had a chance to join the fun.  You have to use at least one Hero Arts image on your card. Please go to the a2z blog and see what the talented design team has created. You can add your project to the inlinkz  here.

Here is my take on the tag challenge.

Joy Stamp & Cut_Sept 2016 Joy Stamp & Cut1_Sept 2016

Here is how I assembled the tag card:

I am using the Hero Arts Joy Stamp and Cut set.  The tag is the new Hero Arts Nesting Tag Dies.   I made the tag into a card, I took at piece of paper 4 x 5 and scored.  I then took the die and placed it on the paper, making sure the top of the tag was above the scroe line. I added the layers on the tag.  I die cut the joy out of some red cardstock, I placed it on the tag where I wanted it to be and stamped the sentiment.  To finish the tag, I added some ribbon, twine and some little bells I had in my stash.

If you like any of the products I used on my card, please stop over at the a2z Scrapbooking Esty store. You can also use the code “Donna15” to receive 15% off of a $25.00 order.

I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge this month! You will have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the store! Good luck and please come back again soon!

Coffee Loving Fall Hop & Giveaway

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Giveaway

Heeyyy, yooouuu guyyyys! Chark here today to join in the wonderful Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. What a great community of caffeinated, creative people this is! a2z Scrapbooking is happy to be a sponsor and offer prizes for the Fall Hop. And I get to join in today with this project.

I used my Boo Stamp and Cut for the little black ghost die cut, and colored him with a dark purple Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen…love the shine of these! The cup is from the digital Caffeine Fix set, and when I saw how the ghosts looked in vellum, they reminded me of steam, so I had to add them!

The sentiments are also from the Boo Stamp and Cut set. It’s pretty popular, so if it’s sold out in the store, all you have to do is hit the aqua Request Custom Order button and ask for it or anything from the Hero Arts catalogs! We can get it for you at no additional cost for requested items.

Our fabulous Design Team is joining in with the hop and you can check out their blogs here. Thanks for stopping by!

Make cupcake with Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags

Hello everyone,

How about a coffee cup cake?  Hehe.. that would be nice!  I used Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tag clear stamp set and the matching frame cut to create a cup cake on a tag.  Let’s see it.

Here’s a close up:

Doesn’t the frosting look yummy?!🙂

My process:

  • Trim white card stock into tag.  Stamp Hero Arts Sweet Sprinkles Bold Print with clear embossing ink.  Let dry.  Sponge Broken China all over tag, concentrate on edges.
  • On white card stock stamp the cup from Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tag set with Broken China.  Use the coffee sleeve die from Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tag Frame Cut and die cut the cup cake portion.  Distress with Broken China and Milled Lavender.
  • Stamp the foam from Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tag set with Hero Arts mid-tone shadow ink Butter Bar on white card stock.  Die cut using the matching frame cut, use scissors and trim the cup (bottom) part.  Sponge and distress with Squeezed Lemonade.  Add clear Wink of Stella.
  • Stamp greetings using both Coffee Cup Tag set and Many Birthday Messages set with Tuxedo Black on tag.
  • Assemble and adhere cup cake to tag.  Add small die cut embellishments, thread and tie twine.

Check out the supplies I used in the store, if you don’t see it just click the Request Custom Order button on the left sidebar.  Use code Cindy15 to get 15% off any purchases $25 and more (shipping excluded) at check out.

Card and Tags - Christmas wreath

Hero Arts Wreath card and tags

Dawn here to share a Christmas card and some tags I have made with Hero Arts Wreath stamp and die set (SB120 – they can also be purchased separately CL970 stamps and DI152 die cuts)

Hero Arts Wreath

I die cut a panel using a Kaisercraft die.  I stamped the layering wreath using a variety of inks – Hero Arts and Altenew and then added some red embossed dots and a few gold embossed stars.   I gold embossed the bow and die cut it.  The sentiment was stamped with red ink and clear embossed.   I’m very thankful for the help from MISTI.  It really makes layering stamps easy.   I then used some stamps from Hero Arts DC 187 Peace Stamp & Cut set to stamp the little bird (fussy cut) and the remainder of the sentiment.

And of course as our challenge this month is “Tags”  I couldn’t resist to use the Wreath set to make a couple of tags

Wreath Tags

One was stamped directly as a one layer tag and the second on used a die cut wreath, bow and berries.  Die cut using a CAS-ual Fridays die.  (Hero Arts have some lovely tag dies as well HERE)

Card and Tags - Christmas wreath

Hero Arts Color Layering Butterflies

Tag Me With Coloring Layering Butterflies

I thought of silver butterflies; I don’t know why.  But I went with it and I was happily surprised at the results.  The silver embossing just shines, but I couldn’t catch the sparkle just right.  I hope you enjoy the butterflies just flitting by on these tags.
