Playing with Feathers

Hi everyone ~ it’s Barb here…Feathers are one of those things that just make me smile! So, it stands to reason, that I would fall in love with the Hero Arts Feathers Stamp Set.

For my first card, I inked up my new Feathers stamp set with two shades of pigment inks using the rock n’ roll technique. I embossed the sentiment with Pumice Stone Embossing Powder, and inked the Hero Arts Borders Stencil  to add a pop of color to the card. I also added a few of my DIY clear enamel dots (made with Perler Beads), and a thin strip of glitter cardstock.

Remember When

For my 2nd card, I inked one of the smaller feathers in this stamp set with versamark and embossed them with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, and inked the background with 5 different distress inks.
