A Hero Arts Retailer

Merry & Bright

Happy Sunday everyone! Ria here today.

I’ve been loving coloring with markers lately and today I’m sharing colored digi images from Hero Arts Holiday Houses. A perfect digi kit to create a Christmas winter scene.

I printed the digi houses in white card stock then colored them using markers from Letraset, Promarker. I also printed the digital paper that comes along with the kit. I used this paper as the background for my card. The snowflakes design on the paper just  gives this feel of falling snow over these mini houses.

Then, I fussy cut the houses and arranged them in my card base.

For details, I put some white dots and very small lines in the houses to mimic snow building in-front of these homes.

I then added some gems, randomly scattered from the top going down, like  snow falling from above πŸ™‚    I also added Wink of Stella clear glitter in the snows on top of the roof. It looks so nice in real life.

Here’s a closer look at the small details

The kit has sentiments too that you can use, a selection of digi paper and some more other elements that you can use in your card project, scrapbook page or other digi projects.

For some more fun, I made a scallop edge using a die cut at the bottom of the digi pattern paper for added texture.

and here’s my finish card πŸ™‚
