Hello beautiful people!!
Zoey here today to show you a really shiny Christmas Card!
I absolutely Love Christmas, I love eating Christmas dishes (here in Italy we have a lot of dishes that we cook only during Christmas time!), I love drinking hot chocolate, I love decorating my house, I love the smell of candles….I love everything but making Christmas Cards!
YES! You read it right, I do not like making Christmas Cards. Call me weird, call me anything, but Christmas cards are not my thing. BUT, there is a BUT….
I fell in love with this Christmas Stamp set by Hero Arts and I can’t stop making Christmas Cards now! LOL.
As you can see in my last post here the stamp is so unique and versatile.
For this card I only used one of the sentiments… So here is my supply list:
- Hero Arts Winter Sparkle
- Hero Arts 19th Century French Script
- Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder
- Hero Arts Blackboard Ink Cubes (for the Unicorn White)
- Hero Arts Chalk Latte Ink
- Hero Arts Cards Earth (for the Latte base)
- Hero Arts Latte Layering Paper (for the small Tag)
- Hero Arts Stencil Tile Work
- Sponge Daubers
I cut from the Hero Arts Latte Layering Paper, a small tag shape . I added color using the Watercolor Wheel by Hero Arts and stamped over with the Hero Arts 19th Century French Script. To stamp this I used the Hero Arts Chalk Latte Ink because I kinda wanted the Tone-on-tone look with the background paper.
Then using the Sponge Daubers I applied the Unicorn Ink through the Stencil; that is one of my favorites- Hero Arts Stencil Tile Work . I love doing this because you add texture to the tag without adding bulk or modeling paste!
What was left to do was adding the sentiment and heat emboss the Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder.
I did the same steps (except for the stencil) for the background.
Here’s the final project and some details!
Hope you will like this simple card!
