Life in 60’s – scrapbook layout by Taru

Hi everyone.

Here is Taru today! I made a layout using lots of Hero Arts goodies and I used a photo which breathes the spirit of 60´s, I tried to move that spirit into my layout. In the picture you can see my parents.

I chose a big flower stencil and spread brown ink through it to the background. Then I drew lines of the stencil with pencil. And of course some random doodling. I stamped some circle shapes with Charcoal ink. I tried to make a circular and irregular stamping to the paper. Then I stamped a lot of Love-stamp. I added some splashes with sprays. I also made lots of layers with pattern papers behind of photo. Some papers are attached with glue and some with 3D stickers. I stamped more shapes, wrote my journaling (really, really short journaling) and did the title with stickers.

Did you know you can use stamps to make embellishments? On this layout I stamped and cut out that pen and the ink bottle. Somehow those two fits perfectly to this layout! I finished the layout with few sequins.
