Black & White

I love old photos. Lately I’ve found a lot of old photos from my parent’s stash and scanned them to my own use. This is one of them, my father is in the picture. The picture gave me an idea of black&white layout.

I started with white cardstock, stamped and used masks. Some patterns, texts and arrows to give a nice contrast.

I used some old bubble wrap pieces under the photo, there is also a straw as a decorative. Then lots of thread and buttons.
It feels like all my journaling is very short nowadays, how about you? Do you add long journaling to your layouts?

  1. He’s adorable in this pic! and I love all the layers and extras you put into your layout–it’s fabulous!

  2. Wowzer! This is just fabulous!

  3. Fantastic B&W layout! So many layers of fun elements!

I usually let my photos tell the story, I don’t journal too much on my layouts, at the most I record what happened that day and the sequence of events.

  4. Awesome layout!!

  5. Wow WOW WOW!! This is one stunning layout! I LOVE it and find myself drawn to the fabulous black and white color combo! Oh how I iwsh I had the ability to create such mailing scrapbook pages. Card-making is my love and I only wish my scrap pages (back when I made them), were this amazing. You have such a gift to create these wonderful pages!!
