a2z Scrapbooking Supplies

A Hero Arts Retailer

Hello everyone!  Kymona here with a couple of announcements for all of you.  We have been super busy over at a2z Scrapbooking.

Recently we had some of our Design Team members leave us to pursue other endeavors.  We are super thrilled for them but sad at the same time.

We want to say goodbye to Terhi Koshinen.  She was totally amazing with her layouts and mixed media projects.  We wish her luck on her new journey.  She can be found on her blog.

We also want to say goodbye to Michelle Liimatainen our DT Coordinator.  All of her cards were delightful to see.  As DT Coordinator she helped guide us all.  We wish her luck on her new journey as well.  She can be found on her blog.

Both of these amazing women who will be missed!!

Lisa Haines has stepped down temporarily for personal reasons so you will not see a post from her for a while.  Until she comes back you can find her on her blog.

Now without further ado, I would like to introduce you to our 4 new Design Team Members.

Betty Keefe

Even though career wise I was a library media specialist, some form of art has always been my passion. Back in the 80’s and 90’s I scoured antique stores and garage sales looking for items that could be made into something new and then selling the items at craft shows. Then in the late 90’s I discovered Hero Arts stamps and have been hooked on card making ever since. It wasn’t until a few years ago though that I started my Flickr page and then just a year ago began my blog. That has opened up a whole other era in my art life – I have won several challenges and now am on a design team. When I’m in my craft room I’m in another world – love it!!

I have three grown children (none of whom are nearby) and four grandchildren (ages 22 down to 11). They are spread out in North Dakota, Minnesota and London, England and I am here in Nebraska. I always have a book going either from the library or on my laptop. On average, I play bridge at least 3 times a week and keep in sort of shape with water aerobics. Love University of Nebraska sports especially football and have season tickets to women’s basketball games.

Kristina Beagle

I’m 29 years old. Born, raised, and still live in the moderately small town of Commerce Township, Michigan. By trade, I’m a real estate agent currently working as the marketing & closing coordinator for a top producing agent. I’m a dog mommy to my beautiful Cocker Spaniel Bella, who enjoys playing in my paper scraps all over the craft room floor. In addition to crafts, I would have to say my other passions are cooking and music. Oh and Nail Polish!! My crafting style tends to lean towards the “clean and simple”, the opposite of what my craft room looks, but I also like to venture into new techniques whenever possible. You can visit me at my blog anytime!

Sandra Nicholls

Hi my Name is Sandra Nicholls and I live in sunny Queensland Australia.  I am a mother of 2 boys aged 9 (Jed) and 10(Angus) and a girl aged 7(Perri).  When Angus was born we moved back to Qld to be closer to my family and I started making cards to fill in time.  I have grown and so has the stash of goodies and now I do lots of cards, scrapbooking and canvas.  I really love to get my hands dirty and try new techniques and mediums.  Most time it will be mixture of mediums or colors used on any given page or card that I am working on.  I do have to admit that I have a lot more Pink pages done of my daughter then I do of the boys.

I work from home as a Hairdresser but you can find me in-between clients in the craft room.

Sarah Gray

Hi there – I’m Sarah and I am delighted to be joining the talented DT here at a2z Scrapbooking!  I live in Yorkshire in the UK and am the mum to two sweet boys, aged 9 and 11.  I also work full time so don’t have much spare time but spend every minute I can get playing with my stamps and ink.  I have been crafting for a couple of years but only started blogging last March – it has been great to make lots of friends across the world who share this hobby!  I love CAS designs but also like to get my fingers inky and try out lots of techniques so I guess that my style is still evolving.  I am a huge fan of Hero Arts and can’t wait to get creative with the fab range of products that a2z carries 🙂

Sarah can be found on her blog: Funky Fossil Designs

The last announcement is I, Kymona Tracey have been asked to be the Design Team Coordinator for this group.  I was totally excited by the offer.  I love working with these amazing women.  2015 is going to be a great year for all of us on the team.

Please stop by and say hello to all of the new members, they would love to hear from you!!

Don’t forget our current challenge, New To You, is still going on and you don’t want to miss out. You have until the end of this month to enter.  Good Luck!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello, I’m Kymona Tracey. Who am I, you ask? I am a women who never slows down and loves it. Yes... I am the energizer bunny's sister! I just keep going and going (which is something that I am working on, if you follow my weekly wishes on my blog). I am a single mother of two wonderful children who are 8 years apart. My 16 year old son is a true self-made jock who plays every sport you can think of ! My 7 year old daughter is a real life princess who loves anything crafty and girly and absolutely hates anything related to sports. Talk about yin and yang! ...but I love it!! Besides running from one activity to another with them, I work full time at a hospital (public health background), facilitate a reading group at work, teach high school students on the weekends and have a huge love of learning new things. I’ve taken classes in photography, web design, knitting, scrapbooking and card-making. I love them all, however, my true passion is card-making. I was introduced to card making back in 2004 and haven’t turned back since. I started out as a hobbyist just making cards for family and friends. People were always ecstatic when they received a card from me. What they did not know was that it made me feel just as special to make a card for them. This passion pushed me into teaching card-making classes at work with a couple of coworkers who wanted to learn how to make projects for their families. In September 2013, I made a big leap and created my blog, Kreative Kymona. Besides being a mom, I think that this has been one of my most rewarding accomplishments. Just being able to share with my world community makes life so rewarding!
