Hi everyone,
It’s Barb here sharing two cards that I created using a ‘new to me’ technique called ‘Baby Wipe Stamping! Back in June, I saw a Video by Ashley Cannon Newell demonstrating this really fun technique, and thought I would try it. Here is my first card:
I used three colors of Distress inks, added splatters of Hero Arts Silver and Pool Spray Mists in opposite corners, and added a few stars. If you would like to try this technique, check out Ashley’s video…it was very easy and a lot of fun!
I had quite a bit of color left to play with, so I created a second card:
I thought this etched flower from the ‘Butterfly and Flower’ stamp set would look really cool multi-colored, and I’m happy with the way it turned out. The leaves are from the ‘Things We Love’ stamp set, and I chose them because I think they have a lot of personality. I popped the flower up with foam tape and added the vellum sentiment, which I embossed with Liquid Platinum.
We would love for you to play along in This Month’s Challenge. – “New to You”! You may enter up to five times to be eligible to win a $25,00 Gift Certificate to the a2z Scrapbooking Store with each entry.

How fun and totally new to me! I love the idea and also wondered if you could use the Wipe, flip it over and color you die cut, with the ink form the wipe? I may try that now, as that is what I thought I would see in the video! Maybe a brand new idea to try! 🙂
