3D Stenciling with Hero Arts

Hero Arts Butterfly and Flower

Hi Friends, Kristina here with another April Stenciling project!
I wanted to try a little 3d effect with my stencil.
After aligning and taping my stencil to paper I used a sponge dauber and
white ink to blot my image on, then shifted the stencil to the right and up a tad,
and blotted pink ink over top before removing my stencil.

Next I went for my Butterfly & Flower Stamp and Cut set, I love the half
wilted flowers, like they are just waking up at dawn!

I stamped them with some vintage photo distress ink before coloring
in with colored pencils, and finally added a sentiment to a little
stitched fishtail flag and mounted my card to a coordinating card stock and a2 base.

Now show us your stencil project!! You have until the end of the month to link up
to our April challenge for your chance to win a $25 gift card to the store!!!
Need supplies now? Use my discount code KRISTINA15 for 15% off your $25+ purchase!

One more thing before I go, did you know that we are on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook?. If you haven’t done so already, please follow us on these different social media outlets!! You don’t want to miss out on any fun promotions!!

Hi Friends! I'm a 30 something glitter obsessed paper crafter. I live in a smallish Michigan town called Commerce, where I've been my whole life. I do marketing & real estate by trade, but gave up my full time job in 2016 to take care of my dad following a major stroke. You can find all my crafts at www.livelovelaughscrap.com, and I own at etsy shop at thebarefootbarnowl.etsy.com. I current design for a2z scrapbooking, where I also manage their blog and etsy store, as well as Dies R Us, Die Cutting Divas' and A Blog Named Hero.
