Hi everyone!
I got excited about an Art Journal end of last year. I was made so many art journal pages on this year and I really love those possibilities, so I got a idea to make a art journal page for you!
I am also sharing instructions for you!
This is my ready page! I created with many different materials and shapes — lots of steps!
I took my art journal book and open a side–Then I glued masking tape on joint, after that I put a layer of white Gesso.
I took a old book and tore many pages, as needed! Next, I glued, part of pages on my art journal book with light medium or decoupage varnish. You must dry it at this point.
I took a little bit of yellow paint, I choice was Distress Paint, then I took baby wipes and spread all paint to page. You really need so little amount of paint! Old book pages still show behind paint.
I selected a stencil and started make shapes with textured paste on corner. I selected flowers. You must let shapes to dried a long time after that. Then you can make little bit “harder” work for page later.
I took stamps and stamped for page–Use your imagination!
Next, I stamped typewriter and few words on patterned paper. Quite light pattern paper, that you can read all words after stamping. Then I cut out of shapes, . I colored every pictures with ink, then I mist only water. It made the carton little bit soft and then I can made textured with crumpled.
I glued typewriter and text on page–I use some 3D stickers to made contrast.
Then I took a pencil. It can be any soft pencil, but I use soft watercolor pencil. I drew every lines of flowers, after drawing I took a small paintbrush and did again every line with water. It made more effect.
I stamped many letters with black ink on page-Like letters flew on!
Last, but don´t least–I used white paint pen and make some shapes on letters and flowers.
Yes, now my art journal page is ready. Do you like it? Are you never make a art journal work?
