Hi everyone – Jennifer from Caffeinated Papercuts here with a whole set of cards for you today. Yes, it was one of those times when I started stamping and just couldn’t stop!
These came together so, so fast. Honestly the hardest part was me messing with the silver thread! You can easily create these assembly-line style and have a lovely stack of thank you notes (or anything else from the Stamp & Cuts line) in no time at all.
The layers are simple:
-start with a top-folding, A2 card base
-stamp your background stamp (in this case, the big Thanks stamp) onto a piece of 4.25″x5.5″ white cardstock, then trim 1/8″ off each side to make it 4″ wide
-die cut the lovely ‘thanks’ sentiment out of foil paper
-die cut some vellum circles, big enough to fit most of the sentiment and hide the glue for the thread
-assemble: base card, stamped cardstock, silver thread, vellum circle, ‘thanks’ die cut
That’s it! You now have a handful of beautiful cards ready for giving. Here’s a close-up of the colors I used:
These would work great for our current May Challenge – Anything Goes! Just be sure to use a ‘hard’ Hero Arts product (stencil, stamp, die cut, etc.)
