New Beginnings: An Ombre Wedding Card

So I bought this fun Hero Arts stamp and cut set, particularly for the cake, because its gorgeous!!
I have plenty of cupcake stamps, but this is the perfect multi-tiered cake.
While intended for a birthday cake, I’ve decided to use it for a wedding!

I’ve seen a lot of teal/turquoises weddings lately so I ran with that
I used the my Ombre stamp pad to make the different cake tiers different shades
and Hero Arts layer papers to match the stamping, but kept everything else black & white.

I didn’t have a good wedding stamp so I created my own sentiment by combining a
congratulations stamp with a printed sentiment which I traced with a copy multi-liner
to appear as if it was stamped as well

I used a background stamp & some sparkly embossing powder to add
a little interest to the background, but wanted the main focus on the cake, which
I ultimately covered in wink of stella because it simply wasn’t sparkly enough!

I hope this provides some fun inspiration to join our June ChallengeNew Beginnings
New House, New Baby, Graduation… The possibilities are endless, but we’d love to see your creations!
