A Hero Arts Retailer

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you my digital adventure! I created two “different cards”using the same layout with different techniques. To make these I selected two digital Hero Arts files available in our a2z Scrapbooking Supplies Store. They are the stamps from City Adventures Digital Kit and the stamps from Sunshine Flowers Digital Cutting Files. I said stamps because one of these files also come with cutting files.  Let me show you my cards:

Since this month our challenge is to make clear and simple cards, I decided to use whisper white cardstock on the first model . I took the City Adventure Skyline image from the first kit in png format. Then I cropped and recolored the steam and petal and the flower face form the Sunshine flowers file using Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I arranged all the elements how I wanted, then I added the sentiment that is part of the Sunshine Flowers Kit and voila, I sent to print in my ink jet printer. To make this more special I applied a touch of yellow color on the center of the flower and crystal effects or glossy to create a dimension. When it dried I marked the border with a Copic marker.

For the second card, I didn’t change the colors of my stamps, I kept these in black color and just printed them with a laser printer. Then I covered some parts with rose foil and passed the entire piece for the Minc to create this metallic effect over the buildings. After I finished the process I just gave the border of the flower the same touch of color too . I layered this over a basic black cardstock and rose red base card.

Remember you can experiment with a lot of different things using your digital files. They are not expensive and bring a lot of creative possibilities. You can use my discount code MARTHA15 to get these and more material in a2z Scrapbooking Store!

Thank you for stopping by today and have a happy week!

  1. Great cards! Love the combo of Digi and Traditional, (Hybrid) which are some of my favorite cards! You can create them so fast and quickly change one element to make the variety never-ending! 🙂

  2. Wow very special design Martha!! Both very clean and crisp!!

  3. Totally cool – I am always so hesitant when it come to digital stamps….(part of it is due to my lousy printer…..) great cards!
