A Hero Arts Retailer

Sunset or Sunrise?

Aloha Friends!

Niki G. back with another CAS card to inspire you to jump in on our latest challenge

Clean and Simple!!

Today I’m using a couple of Hero Arts stamp sets from the shop

Color Layering Graphic Flowers and Shine Bright

Here’s the card…

I love the Color Layering Flowers stamp set but wanted to do something a little different.

I decided to mask off a portion of the flower and create a sunset or sunrise…depending

on how you want to look at it!  The flower/sun was stamped in

Hero Arts Ombre inks in Butter to Orange.

Then I took some typing paper and used a sponge dauber to create a crisp line to shade the waters

with the Hero Arts Ombre inks in Pool to Navy.  Keep in mind inking with the sponge dauber may look

uneven, but once dry, the colors blend and smooth out so beautifully!

Lastly I stamped the sentiment in the cebter of the sunrise/sunset using

Hero Hues India Ink Black.

To create a more CAS look I decided to die cut the panel a little smaller using a stitched border die

to create more white space.

Here’s another look…

I hope this inspires you to get creative with your Hero Arts products and make something

Clean and Simple!!
