Butterflies in Flight

Hello there everyone! Jennifer here from Caffeinated Papercuts with a CAS butterfly card just perfect for our July Challenge. For those of you not quite sure what CAS (Clean And Simple) cards are, they typically contain a lot of white space and minimal stamping and/or embellishments. Sounds easy, but they can often be harder than you think!

For my CAS card, I grabbed the Stamp & Cuts Butterflies set and some white cardstock to create a flock of butterflies in flight.

See? Lots of white space, minimalist styling, but still pretty. I used the amazing Light to Dark Peach Ombre pad on my big butterfly, then coated him in sparkle embossing powder and cut him out with the matching die. Just because we’re going CAS doesn’t mean you can’t have sparkle! 😉

The little butterflies I simply stamped with some complimentary colors – Butter Bar, Soft Apricot, and Bubblegum. After that I simply added the sentiment, popped my 4″x5.25″ white panel onto a pink card base, and was done!

Now, the butterflies are out of stock again, but don’t fret – just hit the “contact the shop owner” button on the left-hand side of the store page to request it! The supplies I used are listed below – be sure to use code JENNIFER15 for 15% off your total purchase of $25 or more in the shop. I cannot wait to see all of your CAS creations – remember you have through tomorrow, July 31st to link up!

Happy Crafting!
