A Hero Arts Retailer

One Layer Tags

Hi, friends, it’s Chark here today and I’ve got some one layer tags for the holidays. I love gingerbread men and these Hero Arts stamps are my current favorites so I put them to use for today’s post.

IMG_8904For this tag, I stamped on watercolor paper with Black Staz-on and then painted the background with blues and purples. I stamped the heart with pink paint and wrote the Christmas greeting with a pen.

IMG_8879For this tag, I watercolored again but in green and punched it out with a scallop. I should have checked before I started, because I cut off their little utensils, but it’s still okay, since no one really keeps tags like they do with cards sometimes.

IMG_8871This little tag is just stamped onto kraft paper and then I filled in some lines with my black pen so I could give them clothes with my Prismacolor pencils.

IMG_8883This last tag took the most time, but it’s still one layer and therefore, pretty quick. I cut out the spoon and heart and used them as stencils on the kraft paper and sponged White Unicorn Ink over them. I also used a stencil and the white ink to do the corners. I wrote on it with a very fine tip and love how it turned out.

IMG_8891 If you like kraft and white together, these little gingerbread stamps are perfect and at $5.95, they’ll even save you some money on your tags this Christmas!

gingHope you’ll join in the November One Layer Holiday card challenge for the chance to win $25 to the store!

Have a great Monday!
