Merry Little Poppy

Hi, friends, Chark here today to share a Christmas poppy card I made. I figured poppies are red, so why not? Surely they grow somewhere in the world at Christmas time, and if not, they can grow on my card!

The poppy is digital and colored with pencils and the sentiment is from a new Christmas set. The background in black and white washi paired with the waves background stamp heat-embossed in red.

We have this background stamp on ON SALE RIGHT NOW for just $6 and it’s not a little bitty stamp, it covers the whole card front. It looks fab in gold too, just a hint!

It’s not a traditional Christmas card, but it’s certainly fun!

Hope you’ll participate in our Novemver challenge — One Layer Cards (Hero Arts Products Required)   This challenge runs though the end the month.   You have a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the a2z Scrapbooking Store–it’s like a Christmas present to yourself!

Pssst! Did you know that we are on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook?   If you haven’t done so already, please follow us on these different social media outlets!!  You don’t want to miss out on any fun promotions!!

Happy Tuesday!

  1. Stunning poppy!! I agree with you, why not use a poppy on holiday card?! 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Fab card. Love the background and pop of red from the poppy.
