Hi, friends, it’s Chark here today to share a glittery birthday cake card. I used a digi image and didn’t change the color, just printed it in black and then added colored Stickles for the icing and candles without coloring.
The background was created with the Dylusion Ink Sprays on watercolor paper. I love how the ink just soaked in and didn’t bleed too much on this paper. It looks pretty festive to me.
I painted the happy die cut with the same spray and when it adhered a little wonky, I left it alone, because it looks happy to me. I didn’t want to stamp on the front, so it says Birthday inside.
Here’s a little closer look at the glittery goodness.
Hope you’ll participate in our January challenge — Fireworks (Use a lot of Glitter and Bling) (Hero Arts Products Required!) This challenge runs though the end the month. You have a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the a2z Scrapbooking Store.
Happy Sunday!

That’s the kind of cake I need, no calories. Love the bright colored background for that cake. Great combo.
