Simple Masking for the February Challenge

Hero Arts Layering Florals
This months challenge theme is masking so I thought I’d share some super simple masking techniques that DON’T require masking paper or any special supplies. You can use simple copy paper or post-it notes!

All you need is some standard shape dies and something to create the mask.
For the card on the right I die cut a small oval out of a full adhesive post-it, placed in on the card front, did a little ink blending before repeat stamping floral images around the mask!

PicMonkey Collage2
For the 2nd card, I cut a piece of copy paper to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and cut an oval out of the center to create a mask, and repeat stamped floral images on the inside the time, creating a background.

Now, I’d love to see what you come up with! Link it up into our February challenge for
your chance at a $25 gift card to the store!

All supplies linked below 🙂 Looking for new release Hero Arts? The a2z store has it!

Hi Friends! I'm a 30 something glitter obsessed paper crafter. I live in a smallish Michigan town called Commerce, where I've been my whole life. I do marketing & real estate by trade, but gave up my full time job in 2016 to take care of my dad following a major stroke. You can find all my crafts at www.livelovelaughscrap.com, and I own at etsy shop at thebarefootbarnowl.etsy.com. I current design for a2z scrapbooking, where I also manage their blog and etsy store, as well as Dies R Us, Die Cutting Divas' and A Blog Named Hero.
