A Hero Arts Retailer

A big hello with butterflies

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you other embossed card to inspiring you for our monthly challenge. Embossing is one of my favorites techniques and today I am using two products from Hero Arts that I love!

A big hello with butterflies

The base of my card is Cucumber Crush and the second layer is Metallic Dark Green. I made a dry embossing over this layer using the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder. The next layer is Whisper White and I worked on it all my stamped and die cut design. First I stamped randomly some flowers and the word Hello from the stamp set Spring Hello by Lia available in our a2z Scrapbooking Store. For the flowers I used the Tempting Turquoise Classic Ink and for the Hello word Cucumber Crush.

Then I stamped with VersaMark and Gold Embossing Powder the big butterflies that come on the stamp set Butterfly Pair Stamp & Cut, and I cut them with the die cut that are included on the package. I love how this only cut partially the wings and let the center of the butterflies intact on the paper.

I pasted this layer over the base of my card and as final touch I added two loops of bakers twine.

I hope I’ve inspired you to enter this month’s challenge:  Embossing.  Find all the details here, and link up here.
