Aloha friends and happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is off to a great start!! Today I wanted to show off the Balloon Animal Birthday Frame Cuts by itself for a fun birthday card.
I took the single balloon die and cut 13 balloons on white cardstock and colored them up using a sponge dauber (concentrating more color on the left side) and Hero Arts Bold Hybrid inks in Strawberry, Tangerine, Dandelion, Green Apple, Summer Sky, and Orchid.
I laid the colored balloons out on some pattern paper to make sure they were exactly where I wanted them, then used some washi to pick them up, add glue to the backside and lay them back down.
Once the balloons were adhered, I used Kelly’s Outline Letters to create my sentiment and added some hand drawn strings.
I traced the letters with a black marker for a bolder look, then mounted the card front to my cardbase.
Thanks so much for stopping by and don’t forget to join our latest monthly challenge HERE.
