Hello y’all! Monica here today to share a CAS card for our May challenge. There is still plenty of time to play along and enter the challenge here.
When I saw this stamp from Hero Arts I knew I had to have it! I haven’t been back to Texas in years but still considerate home.
I stamped and heat embossed my image on a watercolor card. Then using watercolors, painted my background to look like the state flag. It’s hard to tell in the picture but I did add a little bit of very diluted black on the white are of the flag, to try and help the embossing stand out a little.
This ended up being a very quick card and with a few more would a great note card set. Hero Arts released other city/ state related stamps in the last release. The shop still has some in stock (they have been pretty popular)!

I love the way the state stamps make creating a CAS card so simple. I love the idea of watercolors. Fantastic!
