Aloha and happy Monday! Today I’m playing with the Hero Arts Color Layering Ice Cream set that really makes me crave ice cream. The best part is you can have a lot of stamping fun and make your cone anyway you want it (calorie free)! Not an ice cream fan? Switch it up to the frozen yogurt swirl and add toppings.
Everything you see on the card is from one stamp set and can be found in the store! I created the background using the sprinkles and Hero Arts hybrid inks in Strawberry, Tangerine, Dandelion, Green Apple, Summer Sky and Orchid.
From an oval stitched die cut I used the Hero Arts Color Layering Ice Cream Frame Cut to create a shaker. Then stamped out the cone (Hero Arts Sand Shadow ink and Hero Arts hybrid ink Caramel) and used the frame cut for that as well. I backed the ice cream scoop with some pink cardstock and filled with miniature iridescent stars. I thought the scoop needed more definition so I added some stitch marks with a white gel pen.
The sentiment was die cut with a stitched circle and inked up on the edges to keep the color scheme.
Don’t forget there’s still time to enter the latest a2z Scrapbooking challenge.
Mahalo for stopping by!
