Hi everyone, it’s Angie here with another CAS card to hopefully inspire you to join in the fun challenge at a2zscrapbooking blog this month! There’s still time to enter and you could win a $25 gift certificate to the A2Z Scrapbooking Store! You can read all about it – HERE!
I used the Hero Arts set “You’re so Lovely” to stamp inside the masked area, I used 2 stamps, (the little berries on the branch and the “hello” stamp) from the set and heat embossed them in white, then inked multiple colors of ink on the strip. I removed the masking and let the inks dry, then stamped a bunch of little hearts all over the rest of the card and heat embossed it in clear so you can’t really see it – it just gives a nice effect. You could use any stamp you like to do this for a subtle background. I wrapped some twine around the colored section, then mounted it on fun foam, then a black panel, then a white folded card.
Here’s a list of the supplies I used:
Hero Arts You’re So Lovely Stamp set it also has a matching die set Hero Arts You’re So Lovely Die Set. Hero Arts Snow Layering Paper PS610, Hero Arts Snow White Folded Cards PS566, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Hero Arts Midnight Mix Layering Paper PS607, Sponge Ink Daubers.
And here are the inks available in the store that match what I used: Hero Arts Raspberry Jam Shadow Ink, Hero Arts Lemon Yellow Ink, Hero Arts Indigo Ink, . A set that has little hearts in it if you want to make that kind of background: HERE
