Hi again! Taru is here!
My friend sold me on a new idea: make an album with big tags (Rangers bigs or to do it yourself.) The idea is to make some experiments on tags!! And it will be a funny album with crazy pages. So I start my project today! I made my first tag in my album. Let’s look at it!
My tag is the biggest kraft Dylusions Journaling tag (#12 size)! I paint my tag with 2 different browns (regular paint) and a dry brush. I tried to make it look like an “old board wall“.
I dried the paint. I took two different stencils and used matte extra heavy gel medium (Amsterdam). I made some shapes with a palette knife, stencils and gel medium on tags. Not perfect but clear shapes from the stencil. Then I let it dry.
It took couple hours to dry. But if you don´t have a time, you can use a heat gun! Now this work looks horribly messy!
Then I took Golden Fluid acrylic teal and arcylic glazing liquid. I put them mix and used it on my page. Glazing Liquid let me take more time for working. I waited a couple minutes and then I started wiping teal paint off (with baby wipes and paper towels). Be careful and don´t press too hard on the background.
After all the work, it is so amazing and a perfect effect on the tag!!
