Hi, it’s Sue here with a card which could be submitted for the current monthly challenge here at a2z Scrapbooking – Make It A Tag
We’d love for you to join in the fun! The fine print – you need to use a Hero Arts product to create the focal point.
Here’s my card
To create my card, I started by making the tag. Starting with the ink cubes from Hero Arts Lucy’s Floral Favorites, I randomly added them to a piece of watercolour paper and moved the color around with a water brush. I LOVE these colors – so happy! When the paper dried completely, I mixed up some soft cantaloupe from the same set of ink cubes with texture paste – opaque matte and applied it to Hero Arts Floral stencil with a palette knife to add some texture. I made sure to wash the stencil and palette knife right away before the texture paste dried.
Using a piece of vellum, I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder. I felt that the card needed something else, so I embossed the yellow background to add some interest. I little gold twine completes the card.
Here’s a close-up
