Hi. It’s Sue. Yes, I know, Breast Cancer Awareness month was October. It’s now November! However, as more and more women are being diagnosed with breast cancer, it’s not just something that we remember one month a year. A co-worker’s mom was just diagnosed. I thought of her as I created this card.
I started by gold embossing flowers on vellum from Hero Arts Happy Mother’s Day stamp set. I then fussy cut them and added color with Copic markers.
I found a patterned paper that complemented the flowers and cut a 2.25″ strip. I used gold embossing for the sentiment from Hero Arts Dare to Dream stamp set.
When I adhered the flowers – two are directly adhered to the card and one is popped up with dimensionals.
I added a few sequins to add a bit of sparkle.
We’d love for you to join us at this month’s challenge here at a2z Scrapbooking.
Reminder that the focal image of your card needs to be a Hero Arts product. The a2z Scrapbooking shop at Etsy is a great place to purchase Hero Arts products. When your cart is over $25, use my code Sue15 for a 15% discount.
