Happy Monday friends! We’re getting closer to Valentine’s Day which means I’ve got 46 Valentine grams that need to be done for both my kids’ classes. The kids love to get involved, so I thought it would be fun to use the heart dies from Hero Arts So Sorry Stamp and Cut.
I ended up using scraps of cardstock to die cut a bunch of hearts, and had the kids sponge the edges for some inky fun on the smaller hearts. I used coordinating colors from the Hero Arts Ombre inks in Lilac to Grape, Pink to Red, Pool to Navy, and Lime to Forever Green.
I made little 3×3 cards out of Hero Arts Kraft Layering Paper and used a corner punch to round the edges. The centers were finished with Nuvo Crystal Drops.
I was thinking of just gluing a piece of chocolate on the inside or using them as lollipop covers, but the daughter asked for baked cookies with a stick instead of a lollipop. I tell ya…what we do for our kids!
Don’t forget there’s still time to join our monthly challenge using your favorite Hero Arts products and stamps! This month is Anything Goes so link up your projects! You could win a $25 gift certificate to a2z Scrapbooking store!
Mahalo for stopping by!
