Hero Arts Color Layering Poppy

Hi friends – happy, happy HUMP day – said in my best camel impersonation voice! Hope you are having a great week!

Sentiment Focus

This month we are focusing on sentiments but I couldn’t help but break out these GORGEOUS color layering poppies for a clean and simple card! I stamped the flowers with 3 colors of distress inks (listed below), then added some shading with Prismacolor pencils. I stamped the sentiment from You’re So Lovely in Hero Arts Intense Black ink, splattered on some watered down paint, added some washi tape and called it good!

  1. And you did GOOD Michele!! Beautiful card, and I love that you decorated the inside too!! 🙂

  2. Beautiful inside and out. Perfect placement. What a beauty.

  3. Great looking card! The flowers look so nice and a great color combo. Nicely decorated inside the card too.
