Aloha and happy Tuesday friends! It’s graduation season around here which means I’ll be needing a stash of money/gift card holders. Here’s today’s project…
Hero Arts has a Mini Mailer Fancy Die that has been on my list to get, but to create today’s gift card/money holder I took the Lawn Fawn Stitched Envelope die in various school color combinations.
See the “confetti” on the top flap? I thought it would be fun to use the Hero Arts Origami Animals with matching dies in a different way.
I thought these dies would be fun to use as confetti instead, so I cut some glitter paper and adhered to the top flap. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and for darker paper I heat embossed with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder.
These are fun and quick to do and really could be used for just about any occasion! Don’t forget there’s still time to play with us for our monthly challenge Sentiment Focus for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the store.
Mahalo for stopping by!

I didn’t really think I’d need a small envelope, but I see I do. LOL… Love the way you’ve used the die as confetti.

Really neat! Love the idea of using school colors, and a great way to stretch your dies for the confetti. Tfs! 🙂 ~ Andrea
