Hi! It’s Sue and I have a new card to show you. It would be a good card to enter in the current monthly challenge at a2z Scrapbooking. More about the current challenge, later.
Here’s my card
I started with the sentiment, from a Hero Arts digital kit (details below). I’m still not very good at using digital stamps. However, I did figure out how to change the colour, from the standard black to a nice royal blue and print it on cardstock. Then, using a Hero Arts stencil (details below), distress inks (picked raspberry, mustard seed, spiced marmalade, peacock feathers and wilted violet) and ink daubers, I randomly inked up the stars around the sentiment. It seems kind of festive, to me – don’t you think? I was at a loss what to do next. Then, I remembered this month’s challenge and die cut the panel into a large circle. Using a larger circle die, I cut the purple mat and the circle card – just be sure to remember to “overlap” one edge of the circle, beyond the fold of the card or you’ll end up with two circles, instead of a circle card – don’t ask me how I know this!
