Aloha and Happy Saturday friends! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer…it seems like its going way too fast in this household! Today’s card is inspired by summer and perfect for that guy celebrating a summer birthday.
Isn’t that dressed up manatee so adorable?! I used the Hero Arts Manatee Stamp and Cut that has cute little dress up pieces. The balloon is from Hero Arts Irreverent Birthday Messages. I started with watercolor paper and stamped out the images with Versamark ink and heat set with Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder. The images were colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
To create the background I borrowed Jennifer McGuire’s idea on using an acrylic block and used Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch sprayed with water and “stamped” on watercolor paper. The sentiment uses Hero Arts Intense Black Ink.
That’s it for me! Have a fabulous weekend!!
