Hi everyone! Leslie here to share a DT inspiration project with you today, a fun 3-D birthday card featuring birthday sentiments for ‘old’ people as well as a pop-up instant one-step camera from back in the day! Remember those?! I used several Hero Arts products – Irreverent Birthday Messages stamp set, blessings Stamp & Cut, Intense Black ink, and White Embossing Powder.

Before I get to my project details, quite a few of the Hero Arts stamp sets have sold out recently in the a2z Scrapbooking store and unfortunately the Irreverent Birthday Messages stamp set was one of them. I work ahead and had this card made prior to this stamp set selling out. Seems this has been happening to me a lot lately, lol. The stamped image and sentiments on the front are all from the Hero Arts Irreverent Birthday Messages stamp set.

I stamped a genuine (from the heart) sentiment above the camera from the Hero Arts blessings Stamp & Cut set in Hero Arts Black Intense ink. I went back to the Hero Arts Irreverent Birthday Messages stamp set for the sentiment on the ‘instant camera picture’ which I embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. I had one of these cameras and I’m pretty sure I chuckled throughout the entire process of making this, lol!
