Self Closing Gift Box

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with another project for you.

In keeping with this month’s challenge, I created a gift box.

I used Hero Arts Pretty Blossoms Printable Digital Kit PT002 and Hero Arts Winged Friends Printable Digital Kit DK033

I also used a cut file from Simply Crafty SVGs called Hearts Self Closing Box – This cut file has the choice of heart or solid panels. I chose the solid panels.

I started by printing the flower and butterfly. I then downloaded the cut file into my Brother Scan n Cut software. While the cut file was cutting I colored my images with Prismacolor Pencils.

Next, I adhered the solid light blue panels onto the box. Then, I folded on all the score lines and adhered the box side together. Next, I folded the bottom up and put a bit of adhesive to secure in place.

I added the flower and butterfly with some low profile foam adhesive and finished them off with a bit of Wink of Stella on the butterfly and some Nuvo Drops in the center of the flower. Now, your box is complete ready to be filled with a gift for that special someone.
