Treats for All with Hero Arts Spooky Labels Digital Kit

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with a fun project. Today we’re creating some treat holders using the Hero Arts Spooky Labels Halloween Digital Kit.

image 0

Treat Holders2

I created two quick treat holders using store bought library pocket and goodie bags.

So, let’s get started.

Treat Holder One:

I printed the Spooky Labels onto Orange colored cardstock. I then trimmed out the ornate label(bottom left corner). I then cut a slit in to middle of the label – so I can insert the goodie bag into it. I added a bit of adhesive to the goodie bag tab and pressed into place.

Next, I added a treat and seal it with a bit of re-positional adhesive. Then, I decorated the label with October 31st label. I cut the label in half added a bit of purple cardstock behind the October portion and some foam adhesive. I added a bit of lime green cardstock behind the other half of the label. I layered the October portion on top of the rest of the label and adhered it to the ornate label.

Treat Holder Two:

From the printed the  Hero Arts Spooky Labels Halloween Digital Kit on Orange cardstock. I then trimmed out the spooky treats label(top left). I fishtiled one end of the label. I also trimmed a piece of purple cardstock to mat the label also fishtailing it. I punched the straight end to create a tag. I tied a bit of bakers twine to the label.

Next, I adhered the label tag to the library pocket front. Then, I added my treat to the pocket and seal it with a bit of Halloween washi tape.

Quick and Simple! The  Hero Arts Spooky Labels Halloween Digital Kit does all the work for you! I hope you give them a try!

Hello Friends Annie here with two quick cards for you. They came together really quickly. I am using the Hero Arts Spooky Labels – Halloween Digital Kit .

Trick or Treat Card (Spooky Labels)

I started by downloading and sizing the Hero Arts Spooky Labels to the size I needed for my cards. Next, I printed them onto Orange Cardstock.

Card #1 -I trimmed the banner label and ink the edges with Hero Arts Black Ink. Then, I trimmed the Trick or Treat Sentiment & the little bat also inking the edges. Next, I trimmed my card panel from green cardstock adhered it to my black cardbase.

Then, I punched a small circle at the top of the banner label and tied some black & white Baker’s Twine through it. Next, I trimmed the purple cardstock just a hair smaller than the inner part of the banner label. adhered it to the banner label – then adhered the sentiment with foam adhesive on top of the purple cardstock. I added some foam adhesive to the top and regular adhesive to the rest of the of the banner label place it onto the cardbase. Now, for some finishing touches – I adhered the little bat to the banner centered at the bottom. I popped up his wings with foam adhesive for some added interest. I then place 3 enamel dots in an angle on the corners of the card.

Adobe_20181010_221756

Card #2 – I trimmed the Boo from the printed sheet. I matted it onto the holographic paper. set it aside. Next, I trimmed a card front panel from the Purple cardstock and stamped the triangles and circles onto the panel with Wilted Violet Distress ink. Then, I adhered the purple panel onto some of the holographic orange paper. I then adhered the card panel onto the dark gray cardbase. Next, Die cut the word Happy from green cardstock 3x – next I stacked and adhered each layer so I ended up with a nice thick die cut word. Then, I stamped the -for you- onto a small pieces of lime-green cardstock – I trimmed it down and fishtailed both ends.

Now, that I have all the components ready I put together my card. I adhered the matted Boo onto the purple toward the top of the panel. Next, I adhered the die cut Happy above the boo. added the for you banner underneath using a bit of foam tape. For some finishing touches I add a few enamel dots

I hope you give the Hero Arts Spooky Labels – Halloween Digital Kit .   a try. It’s perfect for your quick Halloween cards.

A Bushel & A Peck

Hello Friends Annie here with another quick card. So, Tell me did you ever hear the song I love you a bushel and a Peck… and a hug around the neck. It’s my husband’s favorite childhood song – his mom always sang it to him.

When, I saw the Farmhouse digital Set by Sugartree Stamps I knew I had to use it to create a sweet card.

image 0

I used the bushel of apples and the sentiment I Love You A Bushel & A Peck. I kept it CAS in keeping with this month’s challenge.

Bushel & a Peck

I printed out the image and sentiment. I colored the Baskets and apples with my alcohol markers; I then fussy cut them out. Next, I trim heavy weight cream colored cardstock and a 2″ piece of plaid pattern paper from American Crafts. I die cut my Sentiment with a stitched rectangle die. I then layered the cream cardstock onto my Kraft card base (4.25″ X 5.5″). Next the plaid pattern paper. I popped up the image and sentiment. For Finshing touches I used a Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in Gold for details on the basket, Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in White to add highlights on the apples and finally a few dots of Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops in Pale Gold.

I hope to have been playing along with us this month Clean and Simple cards are a great way to get a few cards done in a day. Be sure to link up you project so we can all see your wonderful work.

You can find the Farmhouse digital Set by Sugartree Stamps in the Store.  Have a fantastic crafting day!

Poetic Petals Card Set

Hello Friends – Annie here with another fun project. As we are nearing the holiday season most of us will be invited to parties and functions. A hostess gift is always a nice thing to bring and give. Or perhaps you are already working on your gifts for the upcoming season.

A simple set of small cards perfect for quick thank you’s or hello’s is a nice and easy thing to have ready to give.

I created this set of card using the Poetic Petals Digital from Hero Arts Poetic Petals Digital from Hero Arts  which is perfect for these small cards.

image 0

Here are the cards I created. I kept them simple to fit our current challenge.

First, I resized the flowers and printed them onto alcohol marker friendly paper. Then I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers (see below for colors). I then fussy cut them out.

Second, I cut 4 pieces of heavy weight white cardstock to 3″ X 8″. Score at 4″. Then, I put a circle color from Distress Oxide ink. (you can use any ink here) that compliments the flowers. This will provide a landing spot for the flowers.

Third, I placed foam adhesive behind the flowers and place onto the circle of color. Then, I  added some finishing touches with Sakura Gelly Roll Pen in Gold in the center of the flowers and some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops. Repeat for all cards.

Now you have a full set of cards. Add some mini envelops and place them in a gift card box. You have the perfect hostess gift.

So, stop on over to the shop and pick up this beautiful digital download – I can’t wait to see what you create with it! Have a fantastic crafting day!

Winged Happiness

Hello Friends – Annie here with another quick and simple card. Today, I used the Hero Arts Winged Friends Digital Download DK033  This digital download has both Dragonflies and Butterflies. It’s simply beautiful and so easy to work with.

I kept my card simple – I printed out the same dragonfly twice – altering only the size on one of the dragonfly so I ended up with a larger and small version.

Adobe_20180821_234102.png

I started by printing out my Dragonflies from the  Hero Arts Winged Friends Digital Download DK033  I then colored them with my Spectrum Nior Markers. I then added a few dots down the center of the dragonflies; as well as filled in the eyes with a Gelly Roll pen in Silver. Add bit of Zig Wink of Stella in clear trimmed them out and set them aside.

Next I cut a piece cream cardstock to 4″x 51/4′. I then did some die cutting  – using a scalloped boarder die to cut one side of the cream cardstock. I also used a larger version of that scalloped boarder die on the Rinea Foil paper in Turquoise Glossy. I also cut the word Happy five times – 4 from black cardstock and 1 from Rinea Foil paper in Jade Starstruck. Finally, 1 small stitched rectangle.

Now, to create the card – I started by stacking the die cut Happy word gluing between layers. Set it aside with a heavy acrylic block on top. Next,  I layered the cream cardstock on top of the strip of turquoise Rinea Foil paper. I then layered that onto my black card base. Next, I added the dragonflies making sure to angle them. Using the sentiment from the Hero Arts Happy Stamp & Cut DC150 set I stamped it on the small rectangle with black ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then adhered the Happy die cut word to the top of the card, next I put some foam adhesive on the back of the stamped sentiment and place it over the happy die cut. To finish up the card I add a few tiny confetti dots.

Bright World

Hello Friends – Annie here with another post for you. Today, I want to focus on highlighting someone special to you. That person that you feel puts the stars in your world. Hero Arts has created the prefect printable for to create a project for you to let that person or people know exactly how you feel. With the Hero Arts Constellation Printable PT101  PDF – it’s so easy to make your projects.

I created this card – I kept it very simple. I only used the Purple Constellation map(top left) and the Yellow Star (top right). Added a few embellishments – a finished card for my special love one that makes my world bright!

You Make my World Bright Card 1

I used Distress Stains (yes they are still awesome) and Distress Oxide to add a bit of color the sentiment. I cut the Star from the pdf as well as the center – because I wanted more of the map to show. I layered the Map onto yellow shimmer cardstock, then put foam adhesive on the back and place it onto black cardstock card base. Next, I placed the Star in the center of the card. Then, I fishtailed my sentiment as well as a 2″ piece of the yellow shimmer card stock. Next, I layered them together. Next I added foam adhesive to the back of them and placed the sentiment to the card. As a finishing touch I added a some tiny stars and a few dots of Liquid Pearls.

I hope you give the Hero Arts Constellation Printable PT101  PDF a try. So many possibilities for projects.

You Make My World Bright Card 2

I can’t wait to see what you create with it! Have a fantastic crafting day!

Sprinkles Too!

Hello Friends – Annie here with another fun card. Today, I am using the Sugartree  Stamps Party Animal Set.  I thought why not make another card. Of course, I mentioned I would  be using all the fun stamps and sentiments in this set.

This is the card I created for you today. Simple and fun!

Sprinkles too Cupcake card

I colored the Cupcake image using my Spectrum Noir Markers. Then, fussy cut it out. Next, I colored the edges with my Tuxedo Black Memento marker. I added highlights with a white gel pen to the cupcake wrapper. I added some Wink of Stella for some shimmer to the cupcake top. Next, I die cut the  sentiment using a rectangle die. I foam mount the sentiment and set it aside.

Now, I created my card base 5 x 5 size. Next, I cut the 2 cardstocks (black and shimmer deep purple) pattern paper 5 x 5 – then, I trimmed each  1/4″ smaller – so that I could have a nice border around each layer and the cardbase.  Adhered the cardstock &  pattern paper to the card base. Next, I adhered the sentiment to the lower part of the card. I foam mounted the Cupcake and placed it above the sentiment making sure to center it.

For some finishing touches – I added some Nuvo Crystal Drop, Liquid Pearls to the cupcake top and 2 small shimmer Jewels and 1 small shimmer heart to the sentiment.

I hope you create your very own Party Cupcake card and celebrate with a Family member or a friend or two. I can’t wait to see what you create!!Annie

Party Animal

Hello Friends – Annie here with another fun card. Today, I am using the Sugartree  Stamps Party Animal Set. Having a child born in August along with a few friends – I thought the Lion parting was perfect for a few cards. Of course, I will be using all the fun stamps and sentiments in this set.

This is the card I created for you today. Simple and fun! Party Animal Card

I colored the Lion and balloon image using my Spectrum Noir Markers. Then, fussy cut him out. I cut off the balloon strings and then hand drew some in. Next, I die cut the  square and 3 extra balloons from card stock. I die cut the sentiment using a rectangle die. I foam mount the sentiment and set it aside. I added highlights with a white gel pen to the balloons, once dry; I added some Wink of Stella for some shimmer. Set aside.

Now, I created my card base (A2 – 4-1/4 x 5-1/2), Cut the Crate Paper hats chevron pattern paper to 4 x 5-1/4″ so that I could have a nice border around the card.  Adhered the pattern paper to the card base. Next, I placed the sentiment at the bottom of the card. Then, I adhered the Lion and balloons to the square die cut. Drew a few strings using a black gel pen making sure to match up the tail of the lion. I then placed 2 of the extra balloon die cuts at the top right – drew some strings. Placed the smallest balloon die cut on the square panel with the lion.  Foam adhered the square to the card base.

For some finishing touches I added 2 yellow confetti circle to the left bottom of the sentiment.

I hope you create your very own Party Animal card and celebrate with a Family member or a friend or two. I can’t wait to see what you create!!

Be The Rainbow

Hello Friends – Annie here with my first project and post for A2Z Scrapbooking as part of this amazing Design Team. I am so honored to be here with all of you.

For this post I created a simple card using the Hero Arts Silly Scapes Digital Stamp which can be found in the A2Z Scrapbooking Store. I wanted to create a fun and bright silly city – what’s more fun than a bright rainbow!

20180628_212118

I started by printing the Silly Scape Digital Set onto white heavy weight cardstock  – which includes the Silly building and cloud background. Then, I ran the building through my Scan N Cut Machine. I trimmed the cloud background, along with my card base and a strip of grey cardstock.  Next, I colored the building with my Spectrum Noir Markers in rainbow order.

Then,  for a total of 4 trees – I cut tree base using Lawn Fawn die and some Anna Griffin leaves (which I turned into trees) I also punched a small circle using a Fiskars punch for my tree top for soft  shape from brown and green cardstock. I used a Hello die from Your Next Stamp – I cut 4 of them from black cardstock. Next, I layered and adhered the trees (aka leaves), the hello. Set them aside to dry.

Now, I adhered the cloud print to the card base. Next, I used foam adhesive to raise the building a bit from the background. I then tucked the strip of grey cardstock just under the building for a sidewalk. Next, I tucked a few trees behind the buildings and layered two in front of the building using a bit of foam adhesive to make them even. Then, I adhered the hello on the top. For a finishing touch I used a bit of Wink of Stella in clear on the hello.

I hope you create your very own Silly Scape rainbow city. I can’t wait to see what you create!!
