Happy Anniversary Card

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with another card for you.

In keeping with this month’s challenge, I created a floral anniversary card.
I used Hero Arts Pretty Blossoms Printable Digital Kit PT002  and
the Hero Arts Happy DC150 Stamp Set

Here is the card I made.

20190516_224722.jpg

I printed out the PDF onto Kraft cardstock at 85% and then I cut the flower I want to use. I then colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils. Next, I matted the colored image onto Pale Pink cardstock. Then, matted that onto deep burgundy cardstock to coordinate with the flower.

I then die cut the word happy from the pale pink and I stamped the word anniversary onto the pale pink. Next, I matted the sentiment anniversary onto the burgundy cardstock and adhered both sentiments to the card. I then adhered my card front panel to my card base. I finished off the card with a few jewels and heart.

Beyond The Stars

Hello Crafty Friends – I am here with a fun U Fold shape card. This card is much easier to make that it appears – plus it fits in your standard card envelope.

I am using Hero Arts Lucky Star Stamp Set CM315.

20190427_002235

The best part is that it stands up creating a fun display.

1. Start with a piece of card stock measuring 6″ x 10″.
2. Score at 11/2″, 3″, 7″ and 81/2″. The measurements I’ve used will give you a card measuring 6″ tall x 7″ long when folded.
3. Fold along the score lines beginning with a mountain fold, then a valley fold, another valley fold and ending with a mountain fold.
4. If desired, you can add some patterned paper and stamps at this point. Once you add the bottom panel it will be a lot more difficult to add embellishments to the background.
5. Cut a piece of card stock measuring 2″ x 7″. If desired, use a pair of scissors or a border punch to give a decorative edge. Apply glue or double-sided tape to the back of the last 11/2″ of the card stock as shown in the photo below.
6. Secure the card stock to the bottom of one end of your card. Stand the card upright to make aligning the bottom easier – you want it to be flush with the bottom edge of your card.
7. Now repeat with the other end of the card stock strip to complete base of your U-Fold card.

Lucky Star Pop-up Box Card

Hello Crafty Friends- Annie here with a fun Pop- up box card as part of this month’s Challenge Fun Folds.

I am using Hero Arts Lucky Star Stamp Set CM315.

20190417_003807

Top view of the card20190417_003425

Let’s get started on how to create this simple yet fun card.

First, Cut 2 pieces of cardstock 7-1/2″ long by 4-1/4″ wide.
You will be scoring on both pieces.

Next, you need to score the cardstock at 1/2″ and 1″ mark. You need to do this on both sides of your cardstock and on both pieces of cardstock.

Then, you will be folding on these score lines. The old fan style – like back in the elementary school days.

Next, you will need to cut a shape of your choice into one of the cardstock pieces.
(I did a rectangle).

You should have one with an opening and one sold. Both with the folds on the sides.

Now, that you have the cutting and folding done you can start decorating the inside of your card. I adhered a pattern paper onto the solid cardstock (which is the back of the card) and then add the stamped and fussy cut constellations to it. Then, I adhered the front and back of the cards together at the folded tabs we created. You can use liquid or tape adhesive.

  20190417_003807

Now, you can decorate the rest your card and add your sentiment. For finishing touches, I added some white details with a gel pen and a bit of Nuvo Glitter Drops in white blizzard.

Your Pop-up Box Card is now complete!

Celebrate Everyday Card

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with a simple card featuring

the Hero Arts Digital Stamps Poetic Petals

image 0

I created a card using the open Tulip from the Hero Arts Digital Stamps Poetic Petals  I printed it out on the larger size so to take up the front of my card.

Adobe_20190317_004246

Since this month’s challenge is Color It. I figured I would show you the coloring. Usually, don’t. I started with the stem of the tulip. Colored it with shades of green. Next, I did the base of the tulip in shades of orange. Then, I blended some shades of yellows on the top of the tulip.

Next, I fussy cut the tulip out and added some foam adhesive behind the tulip. I added it to a 4-1/4″ X 5-1/2″ piece of black cardstock. I then stamped my sentiment from Hero Arts CL498 Celebrate Stamp set with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Gold powder. I Next, I added a few confetti sequins for finishing touch along with some metallic gold gel pen detailing in the center of the tulip.

Love You More

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with a CAS card.

This month we’re using a Mood Board to inspire us

No photo description available.

I am using the Instant Download Hero Arts Winged Friends DK033 Butterfly Digital Kit Hero Arts Stamp & Cut LOVE Set DC175

20190226_213202

I simply printed the digital download and cut the dragonfly I wanted to work with from the rest. Colored it in with some Arteza Real Brush Markers for a soft watercolor effect.  Then, Fussy cut it. Next, I die cut the word LOVE twice – once from plain white cardstock one once from Rinea Ruby Glossy Foil Paper. Stack and glued the layers to create a chipboard word. I stamped the sentiment You More on white cardstock and cut it into a thin strip. I adhered all the elements on to card front panel which measures 4″ X 5-1/4″ I made from tone on tone pink pattern paper and medium gray cardstock for a nice mat. I then stamped a few hearts for a dragonfly trail. Finished it all off with some small gray and pink sequins and a bit of Wink of Stella on the wings.

All You Need is Love

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with a CAS card.

This month we’re using a Mood Board to inspire us

No photo description available.

Hero Arts Love Stamp N Cut

For this card, I just used the die from the Hero Arts Stamp & Cut Love DC175 Set.

I die cut the word love 5 times from colored cardstock to match the mood board and 4 times from white cardstock.

I then stacked the 4 white cardstock love dies adhering them to one another. Finally, topping the white stack white the Red Glitter cardstock love die cut.

I cut a piece of white card stock to 8″ x*1/2″. I then scored at 4″ from top to bottom. This will be a long card.

I then adhered the die cuts to the front of the card. I started with the light gray and worked my way down to the dark gray. Making sure to place the Glitter Red in the center of the card.

Then, I gathered some ink I used Distress Oxide in Tattered Rose, Worn Lip Stick and Hickory Smoke to stamp some of the hearts on the card.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock trimmed it into a small strip popped it up with foam tape and placed above the red love.

The card is now complete.

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with a quick card.

Today, I am using Hero Arts Constellation Printable PT101 Digital these printables are perfect for quick and easy cards. I like to have them on hand – printed and cut.image 0

The sentiment you & me is from Hero Arts DC175 Love Stamp & Cut Set.

Lazy Winter Polar Bear Greetings

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with this month’s theme of  Winter Wonderland  I wanted to have the colors of my card soft.

I used soft blue and gray instead of the traditional red and green. These colors go perfect with the Polar Bear Greeting stamps in creating a winter wonderland scene.

Note: Polar Bear Greetings has a die set – I did not use them but they are available in the shop.  Polar Bear Greeting Coordinating Dies
