Hero Arts Large Hydrangea

Hi everyone!

Ilina’s here today! Today I am using the Large Hydrangea stamp with the layering dies. This is one of the designs that we made at the Hero Arts party at CHA.  I really LOVE the hydrangea that I had to use it again.

The elements were cut from watercolor paper, and stamped with versamark, then embossed with gold embossing powder. Then die cut using the coordinating dies.

I colored using the Daniel Smith Hero Arts dot card and an watercolor brush. I assembled everything onto blue folded card. And voila 😉

Hero Arts Woof and Purr meet Honeycomb stencil

Hi everyone!

Ilina’s here today with a playful and simple card. This month’s challenge is to use stencils, so for my card I used the Honeycomb stencil. I used the new Purr and Woof stamp sets along with the oldie but goodies Hello Stamp and Cut set (and this set is on sale in the shop- links are at the bottom of this post)

I used the new Honeycomb stencil to add some dimension to the background. For the cat I used mirror image stamp in order to turn its tale to the opposite side.

Color Layering Bird and a Branch from Hero Arts

Hi stampers!

Ilina’s here today and I am sharing a colorful but simple card. For my card I used the oldie but goodie set from Hero Arts called Color Layering Bird and Branch. For my background I used Neenah white 110 lb card stock and some Distress Oxide inks to blend the background, then I spritzed some water to create the little splatters. I was trying to achieve a background mimicking sunset. I stamped the bird on white card stock and trimmed with paper snips.

Next I assembled my front panel and adhered it to black card base.

Scroll down to watch the video on how I created this card.

Sending love with Hero Arts Color Layering Bouquet

Hi stampers!

Ilina’s here today and I am sharing a simple Valentine-ish card. I used the oldie but goodie set from Hero Arts called Color Layering Bouquet. The challenge this month is “Any shade of red” so I used Royal red and Pale tomato, along with one of the new colors Fresh Lawn.

I have a video to go with this card, but my 3yr old wasn’t feeling well, so I didn’t get a chance to edit it. I will post it later, so if you like you can come back later to watch the video.

Hero Arts Romeo and Juliet

Hi stampers!

Ilina’s here today and I am sharing a simple Valentine-ish card. I used the new set from Hero Arts called Romeo and Juliet, along with one of the add-on dies from one of the last years My Monthly Hero Kits. This die is still available as an add -on and in fact it’s in the new catalog. You can order it through A2Z Scrapbooking as a special order by clicking on the “request custom order” in the Etsy shop.

I die cut my black panel and then spritzed with Shimmer spray. Next I stamped the images and sentiment onto the background panel and let it dry. After the ink was dry (I used Versafine) I assembled my card and adhered to black card base.

And don’t forget to play along with this month’s challenge which is “Anything goes” and shop over at A2ZScrapbooking store

Sending you Sunshine – Hero Arts Color Layering Graphic Flower

Hi stampers!

Ilina’s here today and I am sharing little spingy card, because we need some sunshine. I used the color layering graphic flower set to create my card. I stamped the flower on the top left corner because  I wanted to have some empty white space on the bottom. After I was done with the flower I stamped the leaves and the sentiment. I trimmed my panel using the Rectangle infinity dies and added some Nuvo ebony black crystal drops. Then using fun foam I adhered it to my note card. Scroll down for the complete list of supplies I used on this card. And don’t forget to play along with this month’s challenge which is “Anything goes” and shop over at A2ZScrapbooking store
