Best Day Ever Tag.

IMG_0221[1]Hi  Sandra here again today.  As I  may have mentioned that I love making cards as I feel I can add what ever I like.

Which is also this months Challenge.

“Anything goes”

With this tag it is time to start using my left overs.

I cut the cardstock to 10cm by 16cm and then cut the ends off to make it into a tag.

Then the next colour I made 1cm small and added it to the top after I distressed and inked the edges.

I cut 3 feathers of with coordinating paper and coloured the edges.

I stamped the “best day ever”  and heat embossed it and then wet the paper and made a water colour from the ink and went over it for a reverse effect.  I then grabbed a few more things from my stash and started laying it up.

IMG_0202[1]Hi it is Sandra here again today to share another card.

I started by using the stencil and paste on the front of the pink cardstock.  Waited patiently for it to dry.  Then got my butterfly die and placed it in the middle and cut it out.

I placed another piece of pink card stock behind the front and stuck the butterfly back onto that and added some crystals.

Added some ribbon to the top and  bottom and some flowers.

Stamped Hello onto vallum and stuck it onto the side.

Wishing you the Best

Hi it is Sandra here again for today.

I started today card with white card stock and measured  15cm by 30 cm (sorry I am from Australia and only work in cm)  I scored the card at 10cm then again at 23cm and then folded.

While it was shut I placed the Flourish stencil down and applied versamark and then clear embossing powder over the top and heated it.

When dry the then used Soft Olive ink.  I placed it on a mat and sprayed water over it to make it like a water colour an then painted it over the card.

I stamped out Wishing you the Best cut it our and placed it on some mounting tap and then placed it over another kraft card stock added it to on side of the card that opens and added flowers and tule.

Hello You Tag

Hi Sandra here today.

I  love making tags.  They are quick and can be a lot of fun to make adding the different backgrounds.

I started with the Flourish stencil and used Bubble gum ink and added it to both corners of the tag.

Then using the tScript rubber stamp added a few around the page for contrast.

I used the Hello you stamp with the bubble Gum ink. Stamped and then cut it out and added it to another piece of paper and raised it up.

I cut the feather out and then dried embossed it with the Flourish stencil and high lighted it with wet cement.

I then put it all together.

Thanks for looking.

I thought I would do a scrapbooking page this month to show what you can do with the stencils.

I Painted the middle section with gesso and then used the stencil with ink underneath,  then another stencil with paste over the top.

Then started layering the chipboard and flowers and bits and pieces over the top.  And finished with my photo.

I also did some heat embossing with some stamps for a different texture

Follow Your Heart

I love making tags because you can create them with a lot of color and texture.

The Butterfly Die was a perfect addition to the front of my tag.  I cut that out in white and then inked the edges with Hero Arts Butter Bar Ink and then added a flower from my huge stash.

For the base I added Hero Arts Orange Soda Ink, Butter Bar and Bubble gum onto my silicon mat and then sprayed it with water and spreed the colors around.  I then placed the tag onto the colors and made sure that it covered the whole tag.  I dried it with my heat gun.

Then I used my favorite stencil, Hero Arts Leaf and Flourish and used Orange soda, Butter Bar, Bubble Gum Ink and a sponges to transfer that stencil pattern onto my tag.  I started at the top and worked my way down changing the colors so it was dark at the top and light at the bottom. I then used Wet Cement with the same stencil and just added some leaves to it.  I used some stamps from Hero Arts 19th Century French Script with the same ink pads to add some depth to the card.

I heat embossed the Follow Your Heart with Gold embossing powder to the bottom corner.  Then I added some “stitching” with a fine black pen.  Then I put it all together.

IMG_0162[1]Hi.  I received my new supply of Hero Arts yesterday and went straight into creating mode.  Seeing as it is Valentine’s Day next week I thought I would make a card that could be given for Valentine’s Day or even just given to a friend.

I love my Stencils and had to use the Leaf and Flourish straight away.  I got some white card stock and then coloured some texture paste to create the pink tone.  I let that dry and then cut a heart out with it.  I then cut a second one out about 3mm larger then the first one.

I used bubble gum and butter bar and water spray to spread the colours around the stenciled area and then edged the heart with Bubble Gum and a sponge.

I then stenciled the card just with textured paste and then lightly coloured it again with the same colours.  I added the Hero Arts crystals and flowers.  This stencil has now become my favorite item and will be used on a lot of my next projects.

Hi Everyone. It is Sandra here.  I am here with my first post. I love my mixed media and love doing cards that way also. I saw these Digital Butterflies and knew exactly what I wanted to do.

For the background I used a stencil with textured paste and then added glitter over the top. You can never go passed a cute doily which I added next and added some lace and paper flowers.

Now the butterflies. I printed them out onto watercolor paper. I then sprayed a few colors of the same tone and started blending. Working from the darkest to the lightest. I added a different color to the circles. I then added crystal effects over the butterfly and added Glitter. When that was dry I added crystals in the middle as their bodies. Then made them 3d for only gluing the middle section down so they look like they were flying.
