Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags With a Hint of Embellishment

I thought some detailing might be nice to bring out an elegance to this set and I’m really amazed that I think I succeeded.  A little embellishment is sometimes all you need.  I made two cards with two different colored coffee cups, but the same embossing folder, stamps and stickers.  I hope you like these as much as I do.  I put Wink of Stella – GL White on both cups on the foam part.  The bronze seems to have pulled the white around and it looks like a foamy or creamy froth mixed with strawberry.

Close-up of the cup  – this could be whipped cream on a hot chocolate  –  YUM

I guess it could be foam on a coffee – obviously, I know nothing about coffee.

I know this seems dark and strange.  If I can get a better photo, I will.  The coffee cup paper is a shinny bronze with Cup O”Joe inked on the stamp.

It reminds me of a creamy strawberry cream on top.

Hero Arts: Happy Thanksgiving Mixed Media Card

Hello crafty friends, Helen is here 🙂 It is November and Thanksgiving is almost here. Today, I would like to share with you a Thanksgiving card.

Hero Arts: Happy Thanksgiving Mixed Media Card

I am using the Hero Arts – Color Layering Grateful Leaves stamp set. This stamp set is beautiful and I cannot stop making cards with them 🙂

I did some experiment with alcohol inks and glossy paper. After mixing colors, I ended up with some fun background. I used one of them as my background today.

I stamped the maple leaf randomly on the background panel with archival black ink. Archival works the best on non-porous and glossy paper. After that, I used my craft heater to dry the panel well and then added it on the white A2 cardbase with a lot of adhesive runner.

For the sentiment, I cut a strip out of watercolor paper, added some color wash with Spectrum Noi Aqua markers, and stamped the sentiment from the same staml set with Archival black ink. I embellished the sentiment strip with some natural twine and added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

I finished the card with some orange gems to match the Fall color combo on this card.

I hope this card inspire you to create today. When you create a card or any project with embellishments,  link it up with our November Challenge – Embellish It. By linking up, you have a chance to win a $25 gift card to the a2z store!

Grateful Leaves

Hello all Monica here today to share a card I made for our layer challenge. I started by stamping my leaf with distress inks and and spritzing before I stamped on my watercolor paper. I repeated the steps with all three inks. Then using the same inks I used the same process with some ink blot stamp images.

I then stamped the veins in versa mark so that I could emboss them in gold. I used the same method of embossing for my sentiment on the vellum piece. I layered the vellum on the panel, wrapped it with twine and added a bow.

I adhered the panel to my card and added some sequins for a little more glitz! Just in case the gold embossing wasn’t enough. Below is another picture so you can see the embossing a little better.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you another Fall Coffee Lovers Project that I made using our fabulous Coffee Cut Frames combined with the new stamp set Vintage Christmas Wishes. I know that this kit is originally created for Christmas but with a little bit of creativity, you can use it the entire of year. Take a look at my card:

COFFEE CUT FRAMES AND VINTAGE CHRISTMAS

Creating this card was very simple:

  1. Cut the base using Very Vanilla card stock.
  2. Cut a second layer using a decorated paper. I used the same pattern to cut the base of the cup.
  3. Cut a third layer of very vanilla card stock using a decorated frame.
  4. Stamp on the upper part of the frame the background image included on the stamp set Vintage Christmas Wishes. I inked this with different colors to create a fall look.
  5. Cut the Coffee Cup using decorated paper and very vanilla card stock.
  6. Sponge the cap of the cup with Hero Arts Soft Sand Ink
  7. Stamp the little fall images included on the stamp set Autumn by Hero Arts on the accent part of the cut.
  8. Assemble the cup and paste over the background using dimensionals.
  9. Stamp your sentiment using the words included in the Autumn stamp set by Hero Arts.
  10. Finalize the decoration by adding some sequins in an aqua color.

giveThanks

Hello everyone, Monica here today sharing a card I made using the partial die cut method and some new Hero Arts products. Be sure to check out the a2z store for some new goodies.

give-thanks

I started by stamping my leaves in a line and then ran the panel through the machine to cute the top portion. Once all four were cut I used my scissors to trim off any access cardstock that I didn’t want sticking around. I then stamped the sentiment, wrapped some ribbon around the panel and added a bow. For the card base I stamped in a similar color for a light background

One Layer Thanksgiving Cards

Good Morning! It’s Helen 🙂 Today I would like to share with you quick and simple to make Thanksgiving/Fall cards.

a2z-helen-onelayer-thanksgiving

They are One-Layer cards. It is a very simple and quick technique to mass-produce Holiday cards. And with Hero Arts new Ombre Ink Pads, even easier.

On my cards, I just ink the leaves from the Layering Grateful stamp set with the Autumn Ombre ink pad and stamp them on the white card. And I embelished couple of them with some accent pearls.

I made these 4 cards in only 15 minutes. And I love making Holiday cards these days 🙂

Have you checked the new Hero Arts products at a2z Etsy Store? You’ll love them! And get 15% OFF your order if $25 or more by using this code: Helen15.

THANK YOU so much for supporting us and have a fabulous day!
