A Hero Arts Retailer

Birthday flowers

Dawn here today.  Are you, like me, over doing Christmas cards?  I was really pleased to have a birthday card to make for a friend who’s birthday is later this month…..  A nice change from Christmas.

This month’s challenge theme is about adding dimension – so I’ve incorporated some dimension into my card.  I added some dry embossing with a folder and a Tim Holtz diffuser to leave the centre un-emmbossed.  I then stamped the flowers with a Memento Ink and used some Abandoned Coral distress ink to paint the colour in using an old Wink of Stella pen filled with water…. still gives a lot of glimmer to the flowers

I fussy cut the flowers and leaves (painted with Twisted Citron distress ink)   and used Dimensional 3M tape to pop up a couple of the flowers.  The sentiment is from an older Hero Arts set which underwent some stamp surgery to separate the woods.
