DIY Gift Basket with Hero Arts Vintage Christmas Wishes stamp set

Last Minute Gifts with Hero Arts Vintage Christmas Wishes Stamp Set

Hello every one… Helen is here today would love to share with you last minute gift ideas that you can create with Hero Arts Stamp Set.

Today, I am using the Vintage Christmas Wishes stamp set on both of my projects: Gift Basket and Mug Gift set.

DIY Gift Basket with Hero Arts - Vintage Christmas Wishes stamp set

First is the gift basket. I stamped the snowman from Vintage Christmas Wishes stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black on white tissue paper. And I stamped the tree from the same stamp set on the cover of the kraft note pad.

I used the stamped tissue paper to decorate the base of the gift basket and I filled it with note book, gel pens and post it notes. This gift is perfect for a teacher 🙂

DIY Mug Gift with Hero Arts - Vintage Christmas Wishes stamp set

On my second gift, I stamped the tree from Vintage Christmas Wishes stamp set on white ceramic mug with StazOn brown ink. Before I stamp the image, I cleaned the mug with alcohol wipes to remove any grease on it then I stamped it on the three sides of the mug.

I used the other stamped tissue paper to decorate this mug, too, and I filled it with hot cocoa and some candy cane candies. This would be a great gift for teacher, school bus driver, friend, or even your kids 🙂

Hero Arts Vintage Poinsettia Gift Box

Hi Dawn here to share with you a gift box I have decorated.  I was lucky to get give a pile of pre-cut gift boxes.  I’m going to be using some to package up mini Pecan Pies for Christmas gifts.   Here’s my design

Box #1

I stamped the Vintage Poinsettia in black directly onto the kraft box and also onto extra kraft card.  I used Faber Castell pencils to colour the additional image and then die cut with the matching die.

Roses in Winter

Hi, friends, it’s Chark here today with a way to make your paper flowers more dimensional. I used the Blush Print flower pack and layered a few flowers together, and I rolled a single petal to be the flower center. You could add pearls or rhinestones, which I usually do. But this time around, it was all flowers.

I prettied up a white box with some silver poinsetta paper and silver hologram tape, then added the leaf die cuts and the roses I had made.

It came together pretty quickly and I love how it turned out. Once you make the rolled single petal center, glue that flower (that you cut the petal from) around it and then glue a larger one around that and then layer as many as you like. I used five to six on each.

The best part is that there are several colors of these paper flowers, including the Blush Mix I used, Pool, Sea, Sunshine, Earth Printed and White/Cream Mix. The white flowers are fun to ink and color to fit your project.

The regular pricing of $3.95 is a good deal for 24 flowers of different shapes and prints, but right now, the Sunshine and Pool are on sale for $2.00 for each pack of 24, so you can get a lot of bang for your buck with these.

Don’t forget to join in our December challenge of Hero Arts and Make it Pop (add dimension) here for a chance to win a gift certificate to the store!

Check out the store for all the new Hero Arts Valentine goodies and all the newly added items in the sale section, you’ll be amazed!

Happy Wednesday!
