Graduation Digital Stamp

And here it is on a card!

Graduation Digital Stamps

To start my card base I did a quick watercolor wash with my Gansai Tambi watercolors, starting with the teal colors and then splattering with some gold. Next, I printed the graduation stamp onto some blue card stock and then traced over it with a gold gel pen, followed by cutting it out with my brother scan n cut. For my sentiment I uploaded the SVG file into cricut design space and cut out the image on my cricut explore using the same blue card stock from the hat, and some gold foil cardstock on top. Once the watercolor was dry I glued down my sentiment and popped the die cut hat on with some foam adhesive, and there you have it!

Hero Arts You’re So Lovely – Tag Challenge

Hello everyone,

It’s Donna here with the new challenge “Make It A Tag”!  Doesn’t that sound like fun!  I can’t remember ever making a tag on a card and this is fun….I hope you will join in on the fun challenge.  You have to use at least one Hero Arts image on your card.  You can add your project to the inlinkz  here.

I am using the Hero Arts You’re So Lovely stamp set.  The tag is the new Hero Arts Nesting Tag Dies.  I die cut the second tag out of white card stock, then backed it with black card stock.  I stamped two of the large flowers and one small one on my tag using the Hero Arts Raspberry Jam ink.  Oh my, how I love this color!  I then stamped the leaves using Hero Arts Pine and Moss inks.  I stamped the sentiment using Hero Arts black ink.  To finish the tag off I added some black splattered ink and rhinestones.

Here is my take on the card.

a2z_Sept 2016_You're So Lovly

If you like any of the products I used on my card, please stop over at the a2z Scrapbooking Esty store. You can also use the code “Donna15” to receive 15% off of a $25.00 order.

I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge this month! You will have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the store! Good luck and please come back again soon!

New Beginnings: Graduation Part 2

Welcome Back! If you didn’t stop by yesterday, I’m featuring my current favorite Hero Arts stamp set, Alpha Tags. Yesterday I shared a great graduation card, and today I bring you a scrapbook page!

This is such a great stamp set for DIY titles and greetings.
I might of gone a little overboard 🙂

I’m not big on jouraling, but I like the idea of jounaling cards so I took one and turned it into a subway art type display with a ton of assorted stamp set from Hero Arts. I wanted the main focal point to be Nicholas 2009 so I stamped it in its own color. Next I stamped out “Hats Off”, Heat Embossed, and cut out with the matching die, followed by “To The Grad” which I stamped and heat embossed on a fishtail flag for a two part page title. I used my crop-a-dile to punch little holes in the flags to run some ribbon through, which I ended up adhering to buttons.

New Beginnings: Graduation Part 1

In keeping with this months New Beginnings theme I’m celebrating graduation here on the blog today and tomorrow! Graduation season is upon us!
Lot’s of fresh new adults entering the ‘real world’ with no where to go but up!
So it’s no doubt we celebrate the occasion! And what better way than with gold & glitter!

Graduation Card Hero Arts

I went with a blue and gold color combination primarily because this was for a boy, but also just seems like a great graduation color (because it was my high school colors tee-hee) but you could easily replicate using gold + any other color!

I used one of my FAVORITE alpha stamps for this project The letters are the PERFECT size. I find a lot of alpha stamps to be too big for a project or to small to stamp properly. This one is just right!

Hero Arts Alpha Tabs Stamp & Cut

Buy me in the a2z store! 15% your $25+ Purchase Code: KRISTINA15

Here’s what I did for this card;

1. Start with a white a2 card base

2. Cut a dark colored base layer a step down smaller
I used a die but you could also trim a piece to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8

3. Cut a light colored layer a step down smaller. 4 x 5 1/4 and emboss
with your favorite embossing folder.

4. Stamp your greeting onto your dark colored cardstock and heat
emboss with coordinating embossing powder before cutting out.

5. Embellish with coordinating die cuts. I used this fun graduation
image from Cricut which I cut out and glittered generously.

I hope this inspires you to join us in this months new beginnings challenge for your chance at a $25 gift card to the store!

You can get this stamp set & tons more Hero Arts goodies in the a2z store AND you can get it for 15% off!! Use code KRISTINA15 at checkout. Want something, but don’t see it in the store?! Item out of stock?! No problem! Use the “Request Custom Order” or “Ask a Question” button.

Owl Congrats

Hello there,

Cindy here to share a card fitting for the June Challenge’s theme:  New Beginnings.

Let’s get right to it:

a2z_dtp_2015jun19

My process:

  • Use stencil and embossing paste to add texture to designer paper, let dry.  Adhere to card base.
  • Die cut “Congrats” three times on black CS, glue all three layers together to create a chip board look.
  • Stamp owl on white CS twice, colour and cut out.  Please a small piece of foam adhesive between the two pieces to create a 3D sticker look.
  • Stamp cap and tassel on white CS twice, cut out, create 3D sticker look.
  • Cut a piece of light weight CS 1 ½ in by 2 in, roll up to form certificate shape, tie with red ribbon.
  • Stamp sentiment on texture panel, adhere all other element as shown.
  • Add tiny dots of Onyx Pearl on owl’s eyes.

I am pretty happy with the results.  This card is gender neutral, so it’s great to have on hand.  The owl stamp I used is older ,wiser too may be?  🙂  But I am sure you could find a newer version such as the adorable owl in the Hero Arts Friends by Lia set, available at the a2z store.  The Stamp and Cut Congrats is also available.  Use my promote code Cindy15 to get 15% off any purchase of $25 before shipping.  If there’s something you want and don’t see in the store, just click the Request Custom Order button on the left sidebar to get a special order put together just for you.

June’s challenge is New Beginning: (babies, graduations, weddings, new home, new job..etc).  Join us and play along.  By entering you have a chance to win a $25 gift card to the store.  If you are not sure about the rules, check Here.  Hope to see your creations!

Let Your Dreams Set Sail

Hello everyone,

It’s Donna here with a2z Scrapbooking May challenge, which is “anything goes”, I don’t know about you, but I love challenges with anything goes.  I have created a card that can be used for a high school or college graduate, a new job or even a wedding.  I love this stamp set, it has so many endless possibilities.

I wanted to wish everyone out there a Happy Mother’s Day!  I hope you all enjoy your day on Sunday and hopfully you will be able to spend the day relaxing and creating.  Now onto my card…..

I choose to make an unusal card.  I cut an A2 card, then took a circle die and cut a half circle at the top.  I then cut the top layer and used a little larger die to cut another half circle.  I cut a circle using the Lil Inker stitched circle dies and then cut a smaller one to stamp the sentiment.  I adhered the two pieces together and put them on the cut circle on top of the card.  I then stamp the shells on a piece of white cardstock using my misti.  I wanted to make sure the shells were lined straight.  You can’t see it, but I added some clear wink of stella on the shells.  I then cut two more circles to add on top of the shells.  I stamped the images on the top circle.  Well, what do you think about the card?  Is this something you would make?  You can hop on over to the a2z Scrapbooking Store and purchase this set.  It is called the Sail.  I also hope you will stop in and play along with the May challenge.  The theme again is anything goes, remember to use at least one Hero Arts stamp set or product on your card.
