Bold Floral Stencil Love

love wm.jpg

Hi there, it’s Angie here with a card for our December Challenge!

dec graphic a2z.jpg

I think I really have a thing for stencils and this is one of my favs ever!

Hero Arts Bold Floral Stencil, used with Distress Oxide inks, Hero Arts Acetate for see through window, white embossing powder with Versamark ink, Gina K heavyweight card stock, and black fun foam.  I made this background some time ago but didn’t do anything with it….then I decided to make a card similar to one I had made a few months ago for a DT post on a2zscrapbooking. (It was more CAS.)  I usually prefer CAS designs, but I like the busy-ness of this stencil with the oxides and black contrast.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hero Arts Love Stamp & cut with Hero Arts Deco Pattern Stencil

There is still just a little time to enter this months a2zscrapbooking challenge for May:

Sentiment Focus

sentiment focus.jpg

Here I’ve used the Love Stamp and Die set DC175 for my sentiment and the Hero Arts Deco Pattern Stencil SA105 with some embossing paste.  I die cut the 6 love dies, 3 from watercolored paper that I used Distress Oxide Inks on, and 3 black ones for shadows.  I’ve also used Hero Arts white embossing powder and a strip of pattern paper from my stash.  I added some shimmer to the die cuts with Spectrum Noir glitter pen.

I hope you will have time to join the challenge – just remember to use one main Hero Arts product! You could win a $25 gift card to the a2z store!

And remember to use code Angie15 to get 15% off your purchase of $25 or more!

Here’s my list of supplies:

Love Stamp and Cut set DC175

Hero Arts Deco Stencil SA105

Hero Arts White Embossing Powder

Hero Arts – Sending You Love

Hello everyone!

It’s Donna and the challenge for this month is “Any Shade of Red”.  You can link your project here. Please be sure that your project contains at least ONE main HERO ART Product as the focal element!

For my card, I used different shades of Hero Arts red inks for my background.  I cut the heart from the Hero Arts So Sorry Stamp & Cut set and the “love” die cut and sentiment is from the Hero Arts Love Stamp and Cut set.  I finished my card off by adding some splattering of red paint and red sequins.
