Hero Arts Large Hydrangea

Hi everyone!

Ilina’s here today! Today I am using the Large Hydrangea stamp with the layering dies. This is one of the designs that we made at the Hero Arts party at CHA.  I really LOVE the hydrangea that I had to use it again.

The elements were cut from watercolor paper, and stamped with versamark, then embossed with gold embossing powder. Then die cut using the coordinating dies.

I colored using the Daniel Smith Hero Arts dot card and an watercolor brush. I assembled everything onto blue folded card. And voila 😉

Hero Arts Woof and Purr meet Honeycomb stencil

Hi everyone!

Ilina’s here today with a playful and simple card. This month’s challenge is to use stencils, so for my card I used the Honeycomb stencil. I used the new Purr and Woof stamp sets along with the oldie but goodies Hello Stamp and Cut set (and this set is on sale in the shop- links are at the bottom of this post)

I used the new Honeycomb stencil to add some dimension to the background. For the cat I used mirror image stamp in order to turn its tale to the opposite side.

Color Layering Bird and a Branch from Hero Arts

Hi stampers!

Ilina’s here today and I am sharing a colorful but simple card. For my card I used the oldie but goodie set from Hero Arts called Color Layering Bird and Branch. For my background I used Neenah white 110 lb card stock and some Distress Oxide inks to blend the background, then I spritzed some water to create the little splatters. I was trying to achieve a background mimicking sunset. I stamped the bird on white card stock and trimmed with paper snips.

Next I assembled my front panel and adhered it to black card base.

Scroll down to watch the video on how I created this card.

Ilina’s here today and I am sharing a simple Valentine-ish card. I used the oldie but goodie set from Hero Arts called Color Layering Bouquet. The challenge this month is “Any shade of red” so I used Royal red and Pale tomato, along with one of the new colors Fresh Lawn.

I have a video to go with this card, but my 3yr old wasn’t feeling well, so I didn’t get a chance to edit it. I will post it later, so if you like you can come back later to watch the video.

Hero Arts Holiday Floral Christmas card

Hi everyone and happy Friday!

Ilina’s here today with an “unconventional” Christmas card. For my card I used an old technique that I haven’t done in a long time and it’s called “Black Magic”. I used the Holiday Floral background stamp and Unicorn pigment ink to stamp on black card stock. Then I dried it with the heat gun and colored in the images using my Prismacolor pencils.

Next I die cut it with the Infinity dies and adhered to black card base.  I die cut the Merry sentiment and added some shimmer pen, then adhered to my card, then I stamped the Christmas sentiment with white unicorn pigment ink!

Don’t forget to use the “Ilina15” code to get 15% off your order of $25+ in the A2zScrapbooking store  and if you don’t see something contact the store and Linda may be able to order it for you! And the Holiday Floral stamp is on SALE in the store!

Hero Arts Holiday Animals on Wood Slices

Hi stampers!

Ilina’s here today with a holiday project for you. I am slowly getting in Christmas mood even though we still have 80 F weather here in Atlanta. I decided to make some wood slices that can be used as ornaments or magnets. I used the Hero Arts intense black ink pad to stamp my images onto the wood block. Then I colored the everything using Prismacolor pencils, and to finish it off I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Next you can drill hole on the top to use it as an ornament or you can add magnet on the back to use it as a magnet.

Head to the A2ZScrapbooking store for all your Hero Arts needs! Use the code “Ilina15” to get 15% off your order of $25+
