Back to Hero Arts Feather

Now, I know I have used this cut file before, but I do rather like the peacock feather most especially and so I just had to go back and use it once more.  I had no idea where the design was going to go except to use the peacock feathers.  I have recently been accepted onto the AltairArt Design team as well and so I have been sent a few lovely packs of papers all the way from Poland and so I decided to bring these elements together and see what came of it all.

So happy it is ‘Anything Goes’ theme this month (may I just say, phew, as I completely forgot to look up the theme before starting)  After cutting out the feathers I then coloured them with Nuvo wax pastes in purple and gold.  I actually did one in the proper colours, but I decided to go against using that and stuck mostly to my purple colouring.  The feathers are so dainty and fine and they look sensational framing the photo area.  Such a lovely layout simply because of the framing of the feathers … well, that is my opinion anyway.  For more of my work, please follow me on my blog at  https://jacobicreations.blogspot.com.au or you can also visit my website at www.jacobicreations.com

Scapbooking on Art Journal book

Hi your lovely crafters!

It´s time to say goodbye to a2z Scrapbooking DT team. I started on team over 1.5 years ago. Time went so fast. This was a big and great honor to have been part of the team. Our team is so lovely and creative. I hope for you all best wishes and lots of creative time. I hope you will visit on my blog in the future.

Stamping on a Scrapbook Page

Hi everyone!

I love my inks and washi tapes. Do you love yours?

I chose a background paper first. Then I started stamping different shapes and inks with my stamps on my background. Using washi tape I made a few stripes with the tape. Then I stamped the page on washi tape. Next I used a stencil with paint. I made white criss cross shapes.

Scrapbook page: It matters

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to do something so simple and nice that is possible for anyone to do.. Did I succeed??

FIrst I took dark grey pattern paper. Then I used ranger emboss with la ovely stencil. I used it for four different directions. Then i mixed 3 different color of embossing powder: silver, gold and white. I really love that dimension that I created this way. Do you like it?

Our new kitten

Hi everyone!

We are waiting just now our new kitten. He is 9 weeks old now. He is a cute small Radgoll kitten. We must wait 3 weeks still. But that happening is definitely best time to made scrapbooking page with new beginning.

Scrapbook Page: Sweet Little One

Hello!    Today, I created something quite fun — A cute and adorable new  scrapbook layout that I truly HOPE you will enjoy!  It was designed to fit right in with our June Challenge Theme — New Beginnings!

I started this layout by first creating and stamping the background.    Once that was done, I added a layerer of Transparent Gesso.    My darling little photo was then added on top of that layer after it had been coated with Gesso.

   In a matter of minutes, the Gesso was dry, which allows the Sweet Sentiments to show through very clear!

Scrapbook Page — Brushes!!

Hello!

Today I created a  scrapbook page with stamps and stencils.   I really love the photo that I’m sharing in my Layout.   It has a lot of details and shows you some of my favorite “brushes”, as well as some of my favorite Hero Stamped backgrounds!

I added more to the design with patterned paper and stamps.   I also used stencils with my Hero Arts Shadow Inks.   The colors are Pool and Soft Cantaloupe, which were added with Blending Tools.

Viivi on scrapbook page!

Hello Crafters!

Today I played with office trash. I punched an office punch many times.. And then I became inspired to use the small chaff on my background.

First I stamped on the background paper  with many different stamps. Then I put a layer of transparent gesso. Then I put all chaffs on background. When the gesso was dried I started stamping again.

Yes, in my photo was rat – pet rat! I have  many rats in my life. This girl rat have name Viivi.

Dream

Happy Valentine´s Day to everyone!

Now it’s time to have fun with colors and embossing powder.

Take a look at my scrapbook page:

First I took one white craft cardstock and layered it with gesso. When the gesso dried I sprayed it with four different colors to create my background. The colors that I used were Hero Arts Butter Bar, Neon Purple, Green Hills and Cup O’ Joe.

Before the ink spray dried, I sprayed a lot of water on the background. Then I turned the panel on its side so that the colors drip off the paper. I dried the paper with my heat gun. The page looks amazing!! I love that color on background!

Then I took stencils, ink and white embossing powder and made shapes with the stencil randomly over my background. It created dimension on the page.

After adding embossing powder, I stamped different shapes on background with India black ink. Behind the photo I cut a few papers. I made layers and contrast with the 3D stickers and drew lines on the papers with black a pencil.

I stamped the title “Dream” with an alphabet stamp and die cut flags. It made an awesome title on this page with black thread tangle.
