Hero Arts Ring Bold Prints + Thanks

Hi friends! Hope you are doing well and thanks for stopping by! Have you had time to join our challenge this month – ANYTHING GOES? If not, you can link up here!

a2z-anything-goes

Don’t forget, you can save 15% at our Etsy store by using the code: MicheleG15! Don’t hesitate to snag some new goodies to celebrate the new year! ūüėČ Don’t see what you are looking for? Just ask, they do special orders!

I embossed this super fun Hero Arts background stamp with Hero Arts white embossing powder on some miscellaneous watercolor paper Рreally Рit was just in my stash from a kit I received a few months ago. I then sponged on 3 distress inks РWorn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, and Dusty Concord. I used the Distress Sprayer to add some water, let it sit for a bit then mopped up any excess with a dry paper towel.

I already had this THANKS die cut sponged and tipped with gold and I was bound and determined to put it to use! I embossed the additional sentiment on vellum from the Hero Arts Thanks stamp and cut set.

I recently purchased these 4 Tim Holtz dies; I cut one from cardstock and used it as a stencil to apply gold paint and texture paste mixed together. The corner piece is another one of the dies cut from vellum.

I finished it off with some black and white striped paper from my stash, gold glitter paper, a cute little pre-cut doily already colored in purple and layered it all up and mounted with fun foam.

Thanks for visiting, we can’t wait to see your creations!

Hero Arts Acts of Kindness

Hi friends and Happy New Year! This month is an easy one – ANYTHING GOES; hope you’ll join our challenge for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate!

I made two super quick and easy Thank You cards; I still needed a few more for Christmas gifts but I’m ready to move on to bright and cheery colors!

Don’t forget, shop the Etsy store and save 15% using code: MicheleG15! Don’t see something you want/need/like? Just ask, they do special orders!

For one card, I stamped and embossed the little envelope with Hero
Arts white embossing powder, spritzed the paper and sprinkled on Lindy’s magicals, then spritzed some more – WOW, those are some vibrant colors. I dabbed them off a bit so they wouldn’t mix and become muddy.

The other card was sponged with distress inks, dripped on some water and once dry the envelopes were stamped 2nd generation in the same colors. For both cards, I used the Misti to stamp the sentiment multiple times in Hero Arts Intense Black.

Mounted to a scalloped square card base. I finished them off with the little envelope stamped on some Doodlebug designer paper, the heart was colored with copics and stitched to the water color panel.

Thanks for stopping by; we can wait to see your creations!

Happy New Year to all of you!! ¬†I can’t believe it’s 2017 already!! ¬†Just the other day I was writing the 2016 new year blog post!! ¬†I feel like we blinked and 2017 was here! ¬†LOL!!

While I have your attention I wanted to take this time to let you know about the cause that a2z Scrapbooking supports!

Camp Gluten Freedom started in 2010 as a vision for Celiac and Food Allergic children to have a safe camp experience. Every child deserves the chance to go to camp, and their gluten-free or other allergen avoidance diet shouldn’t stand in their way! They can accommodate children with dietary restrictions during any camp session, but have put together some special meals and options for an integrated camp for gluten-free/allergen free children from ages 7-17.  The 2017 session is from June 11-17.

So thank you so much for your continued support! It goes a long way! We hope to have another great year!

Now onto our new challenge for the new year!

Our new challenge this month is “Anything Goes”! All you have to do is use any Hero Arts product on your project. Be creative with this challenge.

Hero Arts Thank You Die & More

hero arts thank you die.jpg

We are coming to the end of December and that means you still have time to enter our “Anything but a Card” Challenge! ¬†I hope you will join us for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the a2zscrapbooking store.

Today I have a few gift card holders I made for my stash. ¬†These are easy to make and they make¬†the gift of a giftcard a little more special! ¬†The red and green ones were made with big Hero Arts background stamp, one was stamped and the other heat embossed in clear to give a tone on tone look. ¬†The third background was made by swiping a Hero Art’s ombre ink pad straight down the card stock! ¬†I had a lot of fun decorating these with Hero Arts flowers, and stamps and die cuts.

These are the supplies I used from the store:

Don’t forget, you can use code Angie15 to get 15% off your purchase of $25 or more (excluding shipping) at the a2zscrapbooking store.

One Layer Thanks

Good morning everyone – it’s Jen from Caffeinated Papercuts here with my last post as a Design Team member. It has been a wonderful year filled with meeting wonderful people and I’ve enjoyed it greatly. My card today combines stenciling and one-layer stamping to say ‘thanks’.

2015-11-29 13.55.12

I went with a rainbow of colors for my confetti stencil, then topped it off with a sentiment from the Thanks Stamp & Cut set. A black card base really makes the colors pop!

2015-11-29 13.56.02On the inside, I used another sentiment in the set and the little stars to jazz it up. I love how all-inclusive the stamp sets are, you really can make a card with just one set if you choose.

Remember, today is the last day to enter our November One Layer Challenge for a chance at that $25 gift certificate to the store!¬†Nearly all of the supplies I used are available in the a2z Scrapbooking shop ‚Äď if something is missing, just hit ‚Äėrequest a custom order‚Äô and they‚Äôll hook you up! Be sure to¬†use coupon code JENNIFER15 to save 15% on your purchase of $25 or more while you‚Äôre there, and don‚Äôt forget¬†that we are on¬†Twitter,¬†Instagram and¬†Facebook.¬† Follow us on these different social media outlets so you won‚Äôt miss out on any fun promotions!2015-11-29 13.55.30Happy Crafting!

One Stamp Set Two Ways – Part 2

Hi All! Kristina here with the second part of my One Stamp Set Two Ways feature. If you missed yesterday’s post, check it out HERE. I’m working with the Hero Arts Basic Grey collaboration known as Sunshine! Which is on SALE right NOW for $8.00!!!!

Hero Arts Sunshine
Yesterday I used this set to make a scrapbook page, today it’s a card (well 2)!

Thanks a Bunch

I used the strawberry from the set to create my own patterned paper.
Since the stamp is one piece, I carefully inked up only the bottom with red and repeatedly
stamped until done and then did the same with the green leaves.

Next I used nesting circle days to cut a void out of the pattern paper for my sentiment
So as to have no waste, I used the cut-out piece to make a 2nd card!

The sentiment was from a digital cut file that I LOVE from the a2z store
The font mix is perfect! Here’s a close up!

Thanks a Bunch2Thanks a Bunch3

This concludes my little feature of the Sunshine stamp set. Like it?
You can get it NOW in the a2z scrapbooking store AND how about 15% off?
Make a purchase of $25 or more and use code KRISTINA15 at check-out to save.
Something you want out of stock? No problem! Use the request custom order button
to request your favorite Hero Arts products!

Don’t forget to link up to our Anything Goes challenge going on through the end of the month!
You can win a $25 gift card to the store!!

Until next Time!

Kristina
