A Hero Arts Retailer

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with another card for you. In keeping with this months theme of Give Thanks – I created a Thanksgiving card. Perfect to give the hostess of the Thanksgiving gathering you are attending or mailing it out to family and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving

Using Hero Arts Layering Bird stamps make this is a quick and simple card. I simply followed the layering steps that on the back of the package for the bird, the stem and flower to stamp onto white card stock. Then I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts Celebrations Stamp Set onto white card stock and trimmed and layered onto yellow card stock.  Then, I adhered the card front to the purple card stock then the card base. Finished off the card with a few sequins and the card was complete.

Gold Embossing with Hero Arts Stamps

Howdy to you all! Today I have a Thanksgiving card for you. I hope you are having some decent Fall weather. Here in Northern California I will just say I am not a fan of 80 degrees plus weather at this time of the year. At least the nights are nice and cool.

Home for the Holidays

When I started out to make my card I was looking forward to using the Home for the Holidays stamp set by Hero Arts and I wanted to use the fun leaf paper.

I began my card by ink blending some Quick Quotes inks to create a Fall look to the sky. I then cut a piece of the leaf paper and adhered that to the card. I got this paper from a fun inexpensive store called Daiso. Anyway as you can see it says Fall.

Next I stamped the two houses with Versamark and used a gold embossing powder to heat emboss them. I colored them in using Copic pens. Next I cut them out using the Home for the Holidays dies that match the stamp set. For the snow on top of the one house I used some Nuvo drops for a little dimension. The Home for the Holidays stamp set leans more towards Christmas but you can use a different color scheme and not put to much snow in and you have Fall.

I found a nice piece of crocheted ribbon (not sure of the actual name) in my stash. I used Hero Arts pretty red brown liquid watercolor to color it. It is a little darker in the photo than it is in real life. I stuck that down using the red line tape.

I adhered my houses to the card and stamped the trees around them. I also stamped some smoke coming out of the chimneys. I think that is a nice little addition to this stamp set.

Then I added the sentiment.

Hello everyone, Monica here today sharing a card I made using the partial die cut method and some new Hero Arts products. Be sure to check out the a2z store for some new goodies.

I started by stamping my leaves in a line and then ran the panel through the machine to cute the top portion. Once all four were cut I used my scissors to trim off any access cardstock that I didn’t want sticking around. I then stamped the sentiment, wrapped some ribbon around the panel and added a bow. For the card base I stamped in a similar color for a light background

Happy Thanksgiving & Black Friday Sale News!

Happy Thanksgiving Hero Arts

Happy Thanksgiving friends, Kristina here with you today to share a quick and simple Thanksgiving card. This design is easily interchangeable with different images and sentiments and very quick to replicate.
I went with an apple (I’m an apple pie person) stamped and colored with copic markers. I used a ruler
to create some faux stitched lines with a gel pen, and finally stamped my sentiment.
As always, I added some Wink of Stella for a finishing touch.

Looking for our Black Friday Sale post? Go here to save!

Good Morning,

It’s Lisa here today and I am currently out in lovely San Diego, California where we happily will be spending Thanksgiving with both of my sons, for the first time in four years.  I am delighted that my younger son, Alex,  and his wife Acacia were able to make the trip with us and we were all so happy to be here and are very much looking forward to a wonderful day together tomorrow.   I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday and savor every minute you can with your family and friends.

I’d like to send out “Warm Wishes” to all of you and to all the members of the a2z Scrapbooking Group.  I’m so honored and very proud to be a part of this team and totally enjoy all of you and your friendships very much.  This year I am especially “Thankful” to each and every one of you has been so kind, caring and supportive to me as I continue in this my battle to beat Cancer.  I’m so happy to currently be in a “Remission” state and am continuing with treatments to keep me cancer free!  Hopefully, forever!

Today I am sharing a sweet little “One Layer Card” done in a Thanksgiving theme that created not only to Wish you a Very Happy Thanksgiving, but to also inspire you to play in our November Challenge this month.  All of the supplies if used for this card are shown below in the Inlinkz List.  I’m also delighted to give a shout out to Kelly LaTevola, one of our former DT Members and a dear friend, who showed me a great way to add the look of layers/border to a One Layer Card, as shown in her Video HERE!  You rock Kelly, and I think this idea is awesome, which is why I wanted to share it with everyone here!!
Happy Thanksgiving

As you can see I used Kelly’s inspiration to add a border to both the top and bottom on my card and love how it gave it a whole new look!   Thanks Kelly, this idea is fantastic and one I know I’ll sure over and over again, whenever I make One Layer Cards.

A list of the products I used on my card, is shown below with Links to the a2z Store.  If you find an item is now out of stock, for there are more goodies you would like to order, please do not hesitate to ask.. We love Custom Orders and are always happy to order for you!  Just send us a message on Etsy and we’ll be happy to do so!  You can also always us my DT Promo code which will save you 15% off any an ALL  order of $25 and up (excluding shipping).  Be sure to enter LISAH15 in the promo code box during the check out process!   Thanks again for shopping with use, thanks for playing in our challenges and thanks so much for being a friend !

Once again, I hope you ALL have  a fantastic Holiday and that you and yours remain very Happy and Healthy for the rest of 2015.    Having the chance to spend this  year with both my boys has been a special “gift” to me makes me one very Happy Momma  – I could not feel more lucky or blessed!    I am so Thankful to have this day together and know I’ll cherish it for a long time!

It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Autumn

Hi, friends, it’s Chark here today and the leaves are turning here in Ohio and some are drifting to the ground. And, although that means raking, it’ll be quite some time before our trees are finished dropping those leaves. In the meantime, I’m thinking Thanksgiving, so I made a card to share with you today that’s all about fall.

IMG_8481 I used Peacock Feathers Distress Inks for the stamp, Carta Bella leaf paper and a watercolor (with Distress Inks) piece stamped with a tiny leaf from this Christmas Elf set. I love using stamps from one set for a whole different holiday…makes me feel like I’m getting my money’s worth!

laiHere’s a close-up. Can you see the faint leaves on the watercolor? I inked the stamp and then stamped off onto scrap paper so it was lighter when I stamped on the card. Subtle but festive.

IMG_8520I hope you’ll join in for the October All Things Fall challenge to try to win the $25 gift certificate. Break out your Hero Arts stamps and stencils and get to work! Link it up here by the end of the month to be entered.

And don’t forget that we are on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Follow us on these different social media outlets so you won’t miss out on any fun promotions!

Happy Fall, Y’all!

Hello everyone!  Greta here & I’m very excited to bring you my first card as a member of the a2z Scrapbooking Supplies DT. Those of us in the U.S. will soon be celebrating Thanksgiving.  I wanted to show you that non-holiday stamps can be used with holiday colors to make a card.

A2Z Nov1

I heat embossed the Leafy Vines & sponged on 3 Distress Inks.  Then I dry embossed the panel & sponged it with gold ink before inking the edges brown.  The sentiment is stamped on a scrap, trimmed into a banner, sponged with gold & edged with brown.  I wanted the card front to be a bit softer, so I also sponged it with gold.  Hero Arts gems provide the embellishment.  Our challenge this month is Anything Goes, so grab your Hero Arts products & play along.  Check out the store and use my code, GRETA15, for 15% off a minimum $25 purchase.

Thanksgiving Blessings

Hi there! It’s Kathy here. I hope you’re week is going well!  Today I’m sharing a card that I have created using one of the new Hero Arts Thanksgiving/Fall stamp sets. I love pumpkins. Any time I see them, it puts me in an autumn mood. How about you?

Ok, on to the card. I stamped an older Hero Arts cloud background stamp with Pumpkin Pie mid-tone ink on kraft paper. You can also use a stencil for this. Then I used the greeting from the new Thankful for You set and stamped it over the clouds (also using the Pumpkin Pie mid-tone ink). It’s very subtle. The Hero Arts mid-tone inks are some of my very favorite inks. I then stamped the pumpkins and used distressed inks with an ink blending tool to add different colors and shading to them. I also used a distress marker to color in the patterned lines on the pumpkins and then used the Wink of Stella glitter brush pen to add a bit of shine.  After the pumpkins were done, I cut the grass using a Fiskars border punch and then I adhered the card together. I then stamped the “Thanksgiving Blessings” greeting on patterned paper and cut it into a banner shape. I added the banner to the card with foam squares, along with a few gems, and voila, it’s finished!

We would love it if you played along with our monthly challenge.  Just click on the challenge link on the right. The theme this month is Autumn and Christmas and you have a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to the store.
