Hi, it’s Elizabeth! I love May because it is birthday month in our family, including mine! LOL
Our monthly theme of “What’s in the Garden” is perfect for me because I love Spring! I can’t wait to see the leaves peaking out and the first blossoms. And after this winter I need SPRING!
Have you participated yet in the linky party for this month? Don’t Wait too long! There’s a $25 gift certificate that is calling your name!
And speaking of $25 gift certificates we have our first winner from the comments on our first blog!
Ricearooni someone from a2z Scrapbooking will be contacting you! Congratulations!
And speaking of Linky Parties did you see Cinnamon Sally’s Linky Party card?
I love how Sally used so many different colors in her Wildflower Garden. I sooo love that stamp! And the embossing adds such wonderful texture.
I am taking the Watercolor Online Card Classes. If you haven’t signed up, it’s not too late! It’s taking place right now and you have a lifetime access to the class. I love the fact that watercoloring is so forgiving. You don’t have to be perfect. (Thank goodness for me!)
My card today is using one of the techniques from the class. It uses Liquid Frisket which I have not used before. It’s a masking liquid that turns into a thin layer like rubber cement. It’s a bit smelly, but was fun to use!
The inside of the card:
Shh! Don’t tell but the card is on its way to my Mom! I happen to be her birthday present:)
I am so looking forward to what you create for our What’s in the Garden linky party! Have a wonderful week!
