You’re so lovely

Hi stampers!

Ilina’s here today and today I have more summery card for you. The last few times I was here I shared goodies from the new Winter catalog, but since it’s still HOT here in Georgia I decided to share more summery card. I used one of my favorite sets called You’re so Lovely and stamped the flower and stem with Lime Green and Soft Pool, then added dimension with Chameleon pens by coloring over the stamped images. I die cut my white panel and the flower and assembled my card. Scroll down for list of supplies!

Hope you like my non-conventional take of the coloring challenge this month. And hope I have inspired you to play along with us this month!

And don’t forget, use the code “Ilina15” in the A2ZScrapbooking store to receive 15% off your orders of $25+

A Beautiful Day with Hero Arts

Beautiful Day

Happy Tuesday everyone, Kristina here playing with my new Hero Arts stamps set You’re So Lovely. I loved these images as soon as Hero Arts released them and the sentiments that go with the set are gorgeous!

I began with an a2 sized card front and laid out and stamped all of my images with my MISTI, I used Hero Arts Bubblegum ink and Hero Arts Ultra Pink ink for the flowers, and Lime Green for the foliage. Next I centered and stamped my sentiment in Hero Arts Intense Black ink.

I wanted a little more than a one layer card, so to finish, I used a rectangle die to cut out and pop up a portion of my card front.

You still have a few days left to link up your Hero Arts Anything Goes project to our July Challenge! $25 gift card up for grabs!

All supplies used are link below and most can be found in the a2z scrapbooking store on Etsy, your home for all things Hero Arts, and while you’re there how about a coupon!! 15% off your $25+ purchase just use code KRISTINA15 at checkout.

The sentiment is from the same set stamped in Hero Arts Intense Black ink. I added another tag to the back so you can write your message. Oh and I drew in some little curly-q’s for the fun of it! 😉

Thank You

Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday! Ilina’s here today with another card for you this month. Since this month’s challenge is free for all, I decided to do another flower image, but this time incorporate coloring. I love coloring! So this was perfect.

For my card I started by stamping the Mum Stem image onto watercolor paper with versamark ink and then embossed it with White Embossing powder. Next using 4 Daniel Smith watercolors I colored it. After everything was dry, I cut my panel. In the next step I cut a little strip from black card stock and stamped the “Thank you” sentiment from the You’re so Lovely set with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder, then trimmed it to my desired length.

Next I assembled my card and to finish it I added some sequins, gold thread and golden sunset glitter Nuvo drops.

Don’t forget to use the code “Ilina15” (the first character is capital “i”) when you shop in the A2ZScrapbooking store to receive 15% off your order of $25+.

Hello You’re So Lovely

Hi everyone, it’s Angie here with another CAS card to hopefully inspire you to join in the fun challenge at a2zscrapbooking blog this month!  There’s still time to enter and you could win a $25 gift certificate to the A2Z Scrapbooking Store!  You can read all about it – HERE!

I used the Hero Arts set “You’re so Lovely” to stamp inside the masked area, I  used 2 stamps, (the little berries on the branch and the “hello” stamp) from the set and heat embossed them in white, then inked multiple colors of ink on the strip.  I removed the masking and let the inks dry, then stamped a bunch of little hearts all over the rest of the card and heat embossed it in clear so you can’t really see it – it just gives a nice effect.  You could use any stamp you like to do this for a subtle background.  I wrapped some twine around the colored section, then mounted it on fun foam, then a black panel, then a white folded card.

Here’s a list of the supplies I used:

Hero Arts You’re So Lovely Stamp set it also has a matching die set Hero Arts You’re So Lovely Die Set.  Hero Arts Snow Layering Paper PS610Hero Arts Snow White Folded Cards PS566Hero Arts White Embossing PowderHero Arts Midnight Mix Layering Paper PS607,  Sponge Ink Daubers.

And here are the inks available in the store that match what I used:  Hero Arts Raspberry Jam Shadow InkHero Arts Lemon Yellow InkHero Arts Indigo Ink,  .   A set that has little hearts in it if you want to make that kind of background:  HERE

Beautiful Day Watercolor

Hi everyone, it’s Angie hoping to inspire you to join in the fun this month at A2Z Scrapbooking with our April watercolor challenge.  For all the details, click HERE.  Just be sure to use one main Hero Arts product to enter!

I used the new release set from Hero Arts You’re So Lovely stamps (CL949) and Hero Arts You’re So Lovely frame cuts (DL167)  along with Hero Arts Shadow Inks and Hero Arts Hues Black Dye Ink to make leaves and berries on the left of the card.

I used watercolor paper, inks from Zig markers, an acrylic block, paint brushes and a water spray bottle  to make the background.  (Just lay some ink on the block, spray it and your paper and use the brush to bring color to your paper.)  Next, I cut it out with a scalloped stitched rectangle frame die for interest around the outside edges and put it back together with tape on the back.  I cut stitched circles from the top center watercolor panel, from turquoise card stock, and from fun foam.  I mounted the turquoise stitched frame and the whole large panel on fun foam and attached it to a turquoise card base, then added the little water drops from my stash.  After I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, I inset the greeting circle down in the opening.  Lastly, added the leaves and berries on the left side.  Then I cleaned all my stamps with Hero Arts Ultra Clean Stamp Cleaner NK202.

I had so much fun watercoloring – I’m sure you will too!  Give it a try and join us for this month’s challenge!
